With a healthy breakfast buffet, attentive hotel staff, from the reception to the housekeeping staff. I really enjoyed my second stay at the Rixos President Astana hotel. Especially the choice of restaurants and bars. Many thanks and I really look forward to my next stay at your hotel.

I cannot speak well enough of the excellent service of this hotel. I ended the last leg of my Kazakhstan trip in this hotel before I departed Astana. I have absolutely no regrets in paying the additional costs for such an excellent hotel. The receptionists at the front desk are professional and follows up on every requests. The bedrooms and housekeeping standards are top notch. My requests have been acceded to. There were some problems to my bathroom and the lamp shades initially but the problems were rectified promptly.
Food and drinks at the Irish pub are pretty good. For a plate of 4 lamb chops, I paid only about 4000 KZT. It was done really well. No way, can you this at this price in any first world city.
Honestly, I cannot think of anything bad to say about the hotel. My entire stay felt very cosy, warm and hospitable, which really helps when it is kind of freezing at sub-zero temperatures in Astana at night now.
I also had an amazing view from the balcony of my room on the top floor.

The hotel is quite old, though it looks very grand. Its a bit jaded. Rooms are old, with room amenities needing a uplift quite soon. Service quality is decent, particularly in the restaurants, bars and breakfast place. Conceierge staff were quite helpful. But, the check-in desk is quite pathetic, with one of the front desk women clearly treating me in a racist manner.
Breakfast is quite good, though the content is quite repetitive. Gym is small and has a disturbing smell. Pool is quite good and the spa as well. Although the front desk staff tell you that spa services is free, that is completely misleading, just to get you in there.
I checked before availing the services and for the amount I paid, the massage was pretty good.
Irish bar deserves special mention - has a set of live performers over the evening sessions. Service is great and food as well.

The Hotel facilities and services are too good to be explained in words. Most courteous staff and prompt responses are just amazing. Rooms are equipped well and offers everything. One will forget home.

Everything is great with this hotel, its entrance, reception, lobby, restaurants and all the services are there and its breakfast is wonderful and varied and will be lucky if you find at reception Roman Orr Darlhon. Everything you think about and wish you find this hotel
