I've too have stayed at a lot of AmericInns over they years and have always had a good experience. However, this particular location is clearly a budget hotel with an AmericInn sign. It's very misleading. The original AmericInn in Baxter. MN is now a Days Inn. So, if you're looking for a quiet comfortable room that one expects from AmericInn stay at the Days Inn.

I stay at a lot of Americinn locations when I travel for work. This is the second worst (Hutchinson, MN being the worst) location I have stayed in. As elite members, there is always bottled water and a snack upon arrival, those were not provided. The toilet didn’t flush, the bathroom door won’t stay closed, the confirmation email said dogs weren’t allowed but when we arrived we found out they are so we could have saved $200 in boarding. Checkin staff was very nice though; that’s why 2 stars instead of 1. Location is good and close to shopping. We wanted to order delivery last night because we arrived late but there was no local book in the room to explore options so we ordered Papa Johns because we know what to expect from them. I usually like to try local favorites when I travel though so I was disappointed there was no hotel book with recommendations. Overall it isn’t awful but definitely not the level we are accustomed to with other Americinn locations.

I visited with my Family and it was very good. Good reception and rooms were very neat and well maintained. Staff were very pleasant and very helpful. My kid enjoyed the stay and will visit this hotel again with my friends and family.

Worn carpets in hallways. King bed was comfortable. Clean room but could use a good dusting. Laundry cart was left in the hallway for several hours. Good breakfast selection with 6 or 7 tables in breakfast room. No one at the front desk the entire time we were eating though the clerk appeared quickly when I used the phone at the desk to call her because coffee had run out. No spray for The waffle maker. When I informed the clerk about that she replied that it was not working anymore-no note to that effect on it & there was waffle batter there. Anyone who made a waffle ended up trying to get it unstuck making a mess.

My room was very spacious and I felt very safe to be in the hotel. I have been staying at this hotel for the past 8 years and the remodel is fabulous! I enjoy bringing my kids here because the arboretum trail is nearby and it is very spacious. Online reservations are easy and it is always a first class visit. It has cozy rooms, and it is quiet even when the hotel is full. The staff is very attentive and accommodates with every need my family and I had. There are tons of lakes, shopping, movies, malls and food nearby.
