Stay Away
Oscar Lon 30/09/2017 11:01WARNING! Do not stay here. I booked a stay here back in August. I booked a non-smoking room but I was given a room that smelled strongly like marijuana. I was given a refund only after contacting corporate. Please read this part carefully. A rouge employee here at this location stole my debit card information and is making fraudulent purchases. Police has been notified.
Not the worst hotel I've stayed in, but really needs an update and repair
AscendingSpaceon 29/08/2017 19:21To get the pros out of the way, the location is great. VERY close to the mall and shopping area beside it, and there's a small table casino and bar next door if that's your thing.
Unfortunately, while it got the job done as far as sleeping, there was a lot that needed to be cleaned and updated. Room was so-so, carpets old and a bit stained but not a big deal, though in the bathroom there was quite a lot of markings, stains, and peeling. You only get one set of towels despite having two adults in the room and won't give extras, you have to give them your current ones. No conditioner or lotions, just a cheap shampoo. Phone didn't work in room despite being plugged in. When asked, they did nothing about it other than just go "huh, that's weird". Found some old dirty moccasins under the bed and the door didn't quite close on its own so you had to pull it shut (not a big deal for me though).
The people at the front desk were fairly polite, but you get the feeling they get a lot of complaints and can't really do anything about them (they're desk clerks, so if anything I felt bad for their situation). Drying machine didn't work, and the breakfast was fairly small even for Continental.
I won't go as far as to say it's terrible, but it's not at all a nice stay either. I won't be coming back unless they get a serious face lift and update.
You can do better than this hotel.

Clean/Nice/Affordable Place to Stay
Pleased_Customer123on 14/08/2017 16:30The room that my wife and I stayed in was very clean/nice and up-to-date looking. It had all the standard/normal amenities (i.e. coffee maker, LCD TV with good channel selections, solid/consistent Wi-Fi signal/service, etc.). There was plenty of space in the room for all our luggage (3 bags, overnight cases, laptop backpack, etc.) and the table and chair in the corner was good for doing paperwork and/or using the laptop for trip planning purposes. The breakfast was a regular continental style and was okay.
Note...there was an advertisement banner on the side of the building that had a rate approx. $10.00 less than what was quoted to me at the front desk. Once I pointed this out to the staff member at the front desk, she made a call to the manager/owner and the banner price was honored. Also, I asked to look at the room prior to finalizing the check-in process and the front office staff member gave me the key and allowed me to go up and look at it.
I would definitely recommend this facility to my friends/relatives but as always, I suggest to everyone that they look at the room prior to doing the final check-in.
Rodeway never disappoints
Patty Von 05/08/2017 14:28Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, very comfortable. Coffee service was stocked well & clean.
We could hear the man in the room next to ours late at night, talking but it wasn't the fault of the hotel.
Worst stay ever
Ernest Bon 04/08/2017 00:40I have stayed in many hotels the past 42 years and never been at one this horrible. Booked a 4 night stay but needed to leave after 3 nights due to extreme heat warnings which meant I had to get out of the area. I paid upfront and when I request to cancel the last night I was told they do not give refunds. NEVER had this issue before. Not being allowed a refund due to my need to get to a cooler climate is ridiculous. I requested the refund on the third day.
In addition - Before I entered the building for the first time I see a prostitute exit the lobby and openly had money to a guy waiting in the car next to me. The employees know about this and just rolled their eyes when I mentioned it.
Party going on in the next room until 5 am.
Hotel "employees"??? dressed in rock t-shirts with no indication they worked for Rodeway.
Totally an awful experience.
