Initially the check in was fine.. Short wait time and friendly as expected when you get a hotel. However, day 2 was a nightmare. I am short on towels and go to the lobby to get more. I am advised they will bring them to my room. I notice something fishy about that staff on day 2 (African American employees). Mind you, I am African American myself (so no racism here, just details). I shower, and there are still no towels. My spouse showers and there are still no towels. I go back down to the lobby and notice a housekeeper with towels in her hand. I ask her for some and she for some odd reason insisted on bringing them to my room. I am confused at this point because she literally just needs to hand them to me. I wear a lot of jewelry. So I did not want this lady coming in my room or even near it at this point because I noticed something fishy from when I came to the lobby originally for my towel. She claims she needed to replace the old ones. We swapped towels and about 5 min later a manager ( a cheat ) came knocking on my door claiming there were complaints of a smoke smell. I knew it was bogus, and asked from "who" and why was I not advised this when I came down to ask for towels and told them my room number.. They could not respond. I get an alert from my phone 10 min later indicating they hotel has charged me 3 x in the amount of $293.00 for smoking in the room. They claim it was a mistake. I had to contact corporate, miss a pool party, contact the bank, starve for a few hours all because they took my Vegas money for the weekend. They were able to fix it a get back 2 of the charges. However, I had to wait 5 days for one of them. They pretty much almost ruined my trip. I told my story to the Hilton staff the following day and they upgraded my room to a suite for free. I would stay away from this hotel until they fire the rude and disgraceful staff they have. Its a scam. I would recommend the Hilton though! They were great! If I wasn't scared of going to jail for the sake of my kids, I would have K.O.'d there staff workers just for the principle of attempting to steal my money and ruin my trip.

My Husbands company placed him in this property as he will be here for about a month with the Construction Convention. I came out to spend a week. First let me say that after reading the other reviews I was leary. The I was a housekeeping supervisor in a 4 star property and am very critical. The room we had 211 was lovely, and for being a block or so from the convention center was very quiet.
The ladies in housekeeping keep the rooms very clean. I also will tell you that Melissa at the front desk went above and beyond to print out my boarding pass. Would so stay here again if I'm ever in Vegas again.

Worst experience ever... and still paying

Humberto R on 11/01/2017 22:45

First of all, the pictures on Expedia are deceiving. And the WiFi IS NOT FREE.
A week prior to our entrance I was charged a "deposit" which they were gonna credit me, and never did.
When we arrived they gave us a very ugly and old room, very different from what Expedia showed, next day we complained and changed us to a room more like the one on the pictures.
Like I said, WiFi is NOT free, and there is no Housekeeping if you stay less than 5 days!.
Then 3 days after we leave I see ANOTHER charge on my credit card!!!!! And I called and nobody answered yet... I will update this review when I can call the manager. Manager (Ann Ortega) if you read this please give me your correct contact information.
For now: AVOID AT ALL COSTS This "Hotel".

They cheated me and make me pay almost double as in my confirmation

I did a reservation in Sept 2016 receiving a confirmation for ~640$ for the 1 week stay. I was on the phone and was assured that all is settled and done.
Upon arrival they told me my reservation was cancelled and made me pay triple the price to be allowed to enter the room (it was evening, after a 25h+ travel from Europe and you ain't get any short notice accommodation during CES).
The problem is indisputably caused by the hotel staff but still at the end they make me pay 1,120$ which 75% more than agreed.
Some colleagues had the same trouble. One had to find an other hotel at high expenses, one got his original rate as he booked through booking.com and the obviously wanted any bad rating in there.
Stay away from this hotel.

They lie

We booked a room back in September and even called to confirm yesterday and today. Was assured when we got here we had a room but told it was still 1 hour til room was cleaned. We came back 1 hour later and told we never had a valid reservation. At 7:16 pm there is no room here and because of CES there's no place for us to stay. These people are crooked.
