I would love to give a review of my first room, Room 250. However, I couldn't even make in the front door. After going back to the front desk 4 times and having them reset my key card and even getting such tips as " swipe your card, pull the door towards you and wait 5 seconds, once the green light flashes 4 times then open the door." No, it should be, "swipe your card and then open the door." Anyway, since I couldn't get in that room, I was given another room. This one with 2 double beds. Not what I paid for, but since I was only going to be there for a short time, I took it. This one (room 248) had no deadbolts, the refrigerator didn't work, and it had only 2 smaller bath towels. This hotel was quiet, so that was nice and had free parking and so so free wifi. I would next time, spend a few extra dollars and stay somewhere a little cleaner and more comfortable though.

We were given a room. Went there the room next door had a large family with at least 5 children around 4 to 7 years old. Some of them were bouncing a ball off our adjoining wall and a mother was YELLING at them to stop. They did not. The door was open and one child was loudly playing with a friction car in front on the doors. We looked in our room and it appeared that a large amount of oil had been soaked into the carpet. Nasty comes to mind. "Josh" was wonderful and moved us to a very much quieter room.
Condition of room was a bit awful (old cigarette smell and horrible carpet) but at least we got some sleep. Thank you Josh.

I’m guessing they stopped doing any maintenance whatsoever on this building about 10 years back. Each and every light in the exterior walkways was so dirty .... the management should be ashamed to charge money to stay here. There’s just no excuse for it to be this bad.

Cleanish, and very dated. It is a place to sleep. The price was just right. You know you can't expect a lot for this price, so don't complain.
They do offer a free breakfast, but we didn't stay for that. Close to Magic Mountain and they let you do a really late check in if you stay late at the park.

We needed an overnight near Cal Arts. The guy at the desk asked if I was traveling from Iceland. We entered the room, a drop of upstairs-airconditioner water rolling off the brim of my cap. The sofa was a beat-up sleigh-style sofa. Huge, comfortable, dark, not visibly stained but we knew, we knew. The dark carpet, still exuding fumes before the room's designated "non-smoking" status, a previous epoch. Through the thin walls I could discern the distinct tones of the adjacent rooms' ventilation systems. A gouge on the ceiling proved hypnotic, fascinating.
Did I mention the wallpaper? Huh, maybe it was more like Barton Fink.
Bathroom was clean, wifi works ok.
