Wonderful Hotel

This hotel is exceptional, the rooms are fit for royalty, comfortable and beautifully furnished. I particularly loved the bathroom with its beautiful tiles and massive shower. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much. The food is delicious and it was lovely to sit outside on the vast balcony. Once in the hotel grounds it is peaceful and an oasis of calm.
Great hotel and oasis of calm

Spent 2 nights in very impressive suite with outstanding facilities and lots of space - loved pool, bar and ambiance, would recommend eating in under the stars - great men and good value. Also good advice from our hosts to visit Amber Fort on foot from Jaigarth.
Jewel of a hotel

This hotel is a real oasis, a place of calm, warmth and elegance. With only 8 rooms (though they are working on restoring more) there is an incredibly personal feel to the place, intimate without ever being intrusive. It's an old Royal Hunting lodge, still in the ownership of scions of Jaipur's royal family and restored with real taste (to my North London eyes, anyway). Food is taken on the airy terrace and the owners often sit beneath a beautiful bird-filled tree, doing their own thing but welcoming you with great warmth and solicitude. You can hear the grind of the traffic outside as you sit on the terrace but that only serves to underline what a haven you're in, full of birds and squirrels and calm. The pool is lovely and I had a wonderful facial from a young woman who told me a little about the part of India she came from - somewhere I'd never heard of. A cultural experience - and the Indian-style treatment was quite different from anything I'd had in the UK and excellent value. The food was excellent too, and the chef, without being asked, detected I was gluten-free and made me a special pancake for breakfast. We would have loved to have stayed more than our 3 nights.
The only thing to be aware of is that the hotel is a little away from the centre of Jaipur, more of an inconvenience for our (uncomplaining) driver than us, since the drives were always fascinating.
Just Wonderful

Our tour operator booked us here and we are so glad they did. The room was magnificent and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly staff. When I got bitten by an insect the barman immediately went to find a remedy. The restaurant staff insisted on ensuring we took a complementary lunch with us for the long journey we had after we left.
It is a way from the main tourist areas of Jaipur but we had a driver & car so no problem. I just wish we had have had more time to spend at the hotel.
Nothing is too much trouble

We stayed 2 nights here having been travelling for 2 weeks. The hotel is exceptionally welcoming with lovely staff, comfortable rooms and excellent cuisine. They sent my glasses out for adjustment and were very supportive to my wife when she stayed behind because of a mild stomach upset. She was regularly offered a tray of tea and had a simple lunch provided. We could not have been better looked after. We would happily return if the opportunity presented itself.
