From our friendly greeting at the door, to the beautiful decor in our comfy room, we were delighted. Beautifully positioned away from the bustle and noise of the inner city, but just a short walk along the scenic boardwalk to Eagle Street and dozens of restaurants to suit any budget. Our bed was super comfortable, sheets clean and crisp, ample size: bathroom with extra large shower (appreciated when your hubby is 6ft 4in,). With a great check in time of 1pm and even more appreciated check out time of 11am, we had time to go downstairs to the beautiful buffet breakfast, walk around the markets on a Sunday morning right outside your door, and still have time to come back and pack up. My only negative comment woulld be no undercover walkway to get from (very tight parking) car park to Hotel. Was raining upon checkin so got pretty wet. Apart from that it was a great night away.

We have come for the Ashes & when we arrived we were really impressed with the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are 1st class. The staff are so helpful. Fantastic location right opposite the botanical gardens. I can't recommend this hotel enough.

Breakfasts are good, the rooms are old style and in need of additional spruce up.
Ty’s and avoid a room next to the lift, pretty noisy.
Always good to have a walk in the park and across the river.
Also a good walk across to south bank.

We stayed Sunday 19th after flying into Brisbane before driving to Hamilton Island.
Very friendly receptionist and whereas unable to get my room at 8am they stored our luggage and allowed us to change clothes after 24 hours flying.
Got room at 1pm as promised.
On the 5th floor with nice view of city. Well equipped with coffee pod machine. Bathroom small but shower big (and hot).
Very comfortable bed.
We had booked breakfast and it was hot & cold buffet style with lots of choices and very tasty.
Great quick checkout and allowed us to store luggage extra day for a friend to collect.
Highly recommended and in great area beside Botanical Gardens and short walk to city centre.

12 nights on business. Large enough to have everything yet small enough for top service. Everything spot on. Great location opposite botanical gardens and close to downtown and Eagle St pier for eats and ferry up and down stream. No better spot in Brisbane and a great staff. Brilliant breakfast selection . Will def stay again.
