This hotel is just in the middle of the fun. Saves lots of time and some money if you want to feel real Odessa. Me and my senior mother visited the southern Ukrainian city in month of July. Air conditioning was great, windows soundproofing so perfect that Deribasovskaya night life did not bother at all. Hotel is super clean and beautiful. Cannot say about breakfast in Compot cafe as we did not use the option. Two famous beer restaurants behind the corner and a big modern grocery store in few blocks down the way made our meetings with friends simply very convenient. Now for the best part - the stuff. Checking in and out were fast and easy. World class service. MARINA and VLAD who worked last night of our stay booked a cab to the airport and promptly called an ambulance as my mom worried too much about the flight. Everything went fine though. Sorry guys for I always late with positive reviews. Thank you... and I'll be back!

Royal Street is a no frills hotel right in the centre of Odessa - it offers few general facilities but if what you want is a decently equipped, modern room at a good price, it's the place to go. Nice friendly staff, too.

Although no elevator (3 floors), no restaurant or bar, it does deserve a high appreciation. Clean, adequate rooms with TV, mini-bar, bathroom, amenities, bath-robes and shower. Fast wi-fi. Smooth and effective airco system per room and in the hotel corridors. Friendly and professional staff day and night available. Many all styles and kitchens restaurants around at close walking distance. Situated in the middle of the old city's lively touristic centre still with silence in the rooms due a good window isolation. In short, highly recommendable for its purpose: having a decent place in the heart of beautiful Odessa to stay overnight.

Very well located hotel,very close to everything.Nice enough room and very clean,with great housekeeping.Only draw back is also its advantage!As it located in a pedestrian area the taxis can only drop you 100m from the hotel,but i did not mind this.Also the hotel has no bar or restaurant.But not a problem as nearest cafes and restaurants are a 20 second walk.And thanks to the pleasant receptionists,they helped with everything i asked!

This hotel is in the middle of the Odessa's busy restaurant area. We had room 405, on the front of the building but were high enough up for the noise to not be too bothersome at night. The staff at the reception desk were young, polite and courteous and respond well to being told their English is good (I don't believe compliments are the norm in the Ukraine). There is no lift the because the building is too old, so we had a mini work out every time we entered the hotel. Our room was superb. A large bed with two pillows each. Plenty of room for moving about too. The sitting area was taken up with a large desk (which housed a mini fridge) and a huge, very comfortable sofa. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the water quality felt better than we'd experienced in Kiev (I could wash the soap out of my hair relatively easily!) The TV worked and the wifi was fast. We telephoned reception to ask for an iron and board and it appeared a few minutes later. Towels were changed daily. This hotel does not have catering, they encourage guests to pop across to the road to the small cafes for breakfast, and as food is so cheap it was actually nice to sit on the sidewalk and people watch whilst having something to eat. I would go back to this hotel.
