Very nice hotel outside the polluted Almaty downtown. From your room window you can see easily the heavy smog.
Rooms are wide with good service.
Wellness area is well equipped with different types of saunas.
Breakfast may be improved but in general good enough.
Taxi service very efficient and useful.
Hope to visit it again.

First impressions from the beautifully decorated lobby are wonderful. Staff are helpful and the rooms are huge with comfortable beds, a big bathroom and nice view from the balcony. The TV had lots of channels and there are tea and coffee-making facilities plus a safe activated by room key. The Wi-Fi is extremely quick but to log-on you have to request a code from Reception which involves a complicated registration process - go to Reception or ask someone to come to the room. The other minor gripe was that the room was 30C when we arrived!! Fortunately the windows can be opened and the engineers arrived quickly to turn the heating off. Due to 5am departure to airport, we only had tea and coffee plus sandwiches in Reception but breakfast probably would have been good. Generally, a very good hotel but please make the Wi-Fi open access and leave the heating OFF! Thank you.

The setting of the hotel is gorgeous, with snow-capped mountains behind it. The lobby is large and luxurious and the hall down to the restaurant feels like the Palace at Versailles. The room was spacious and the view, from the location on the hill, was very nice. The restaurant had a very nice selection of quality foods. We did not have a chance to enjoy the spa, but we took a quick look and loved what we saw. I would love to come back.

The hotel looks somewhat bombastic in faux classic style and is located a bit outside the city center. However, this means that the air is much cleaner than downtown which is often plagued by serious smog. Hotel- (or other) taxi will take you anywhere at reasonable rates.
We had a large room with comfortable beds and large bathroom (shower). Breakfast came with plenty of choice. We had lunch and dinner too and found the food good and freshly prepared.
We were pleasantly surprised by all interactions with hotel staff, who were professional, friendly, exceptionally helpful, kind and made all efforts to bridge the language gap.

We booked this hotel for a business meeting for about 30 people. I arrived at 5 am and had a smooth check-in. Huge room, nicely decorated. Bed is hard as a rock. Good breakfast selection. Place feel isolated and out of the way from city life or any buzz. Beautiful crystal chandeliers everywhere. Nice, well equipped gym.
