I had a wonderful stay at the Royal Victoria in May! While the room was very small, I had an exceptional view of Lake Como and its beautiful sunsets. There was a small beach just steps from the hotel and a dock where boats could pick you up for a private lake tour. The hotel was centrally located and the staff was friendly and helpful. I can't wait for my next visit!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel and we selected the junior suite with a lake view. We were not disappointed with the view. It was beautiful to sit on the terrace and see the lake in front of us. The size of the room was adequate for 2 adults and we loved that the air conditioning kept the room cool for us. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but we managed. The hotel is a 4 star, but in need of an update to their lobby. We noticed they have made some updates to their hotel, but it still feels a bit dated when you first enter the lobby. Service was friendly and helpful. The location was great for visiting Varrena and dining in the town. We would probably stay here again.

We loved Royal Victoria hotel! We had a room with a balcony and it was well worth it! The room was good (normal size for European standards) but the view makes the hotel. We were there to attend for a wedding in the area and everything was terrific - the location, the staff, the restaurant, the pool, etc. We would highly recommend!

We stayed 3 nights here and loved our room with a view of the lake. Varenna is such a lovely town and the lake is beautiful. This hotel is on a quiet piazza with a great location for all the town has to offer. They offer a great breakfast with tables outside overlooking the lake.

The hotel is nice and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. Lake views are stupendous! Rooms are clean, comfortable, and good size. They make you feel at home.
Fantastic location - park your car for free 200 meters away and enjoy what Varenna has to offer!
