Myself and my Vietnamese girlfriend stayed here on an organised tour of Da Lat. So I don't know the cost of our room. The hotel is basic and a little dated in parts, but it is in a great location in which to explore the local area. The reception staff were very friendly. Breakfast was perfectly adequate too.

Location is good, near to the lake and can walk to the market easily. Popular among vietnamese families tourists. Weather is good so air condition is not necessary but there are few rooms with small windows or no view. Try to request for something nicer and higher up the floor...I tried and they gave me a room with bigger window but still low floor. Their charges of extending the room till 6pm is rather ridiculously expensive so don't bother and at night the staff sleeps in the lobby couches...

This hotel is close to the Dalat night market and many other attractions including the Xuan Huong Lake. There is no air conditioning in all the rooms as the weather in Dalat is relatively cool. However, during my stay at the hotel, the weather was extremely hot and without air conditioning, I was not able to sleep until early morning when it became cooler.

I cannot urge travellers enough to avoid this hotel. I had read the mixed reviews and based on its location (which is spot on!) I booked it anyway. To be fair, we arrived in early from an overnight bus and the staff have us a room. The room stank of cigarettes and it looked a bit thrown together. The bathroom shower curtain was mouldy and there was a dampness in the room. I could have lived with that if it wasn't for the noise. I feel we may have been the only westerners in the hotel And I think that maybe people rent rooms long term. The shouting and Noise coming from the other rooms was unbearable. Most other people had their doors open and TVs blaring and walked up and down talking (loudly) to other guests. I've stayed in 16 bed dorms with 18 yr old backpackers who made less noise. It is so central to the beautiful Dalat but I'm sure you could find something central that isn't as horrific as this place.

We stayed on the 3rd floor, we double locked our door, there was a security camera outside our door at the hotel room and we had our ipod and DS stolen. The hotels attitude and lack of accountability was offensive. Just don't stay here.
