We stayed two nights. I was ill when when we arrived and the hosts did everything possible to help and make me feel comfortable. The place is lovely, the room was very good and clean and the location is near enough to everything but is still quiet. The excellent breakfast was served outside in the courtyard. I would recommend it to anyone.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ruskin House!! We only stayed for one night as we were only in Byron Bay for a short time, but Maruska and Dan made us feel so welcome and were exceptional hosts. The location was fantastic - far enough away from the hustle and bustle that it was quiet, yet only a short walk to the centre of Byron. The room was simple, but extremely clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be returning!

We spent three days in Byron Bay which formed part of our epic 21 day holiday in Aussie. We had the best time in Byron Bay and Ruskin house with Maruska and Daniel as our hosts played a major part therein. They were very friendly and helpful with lots of valueable recommendation as to what to do in Byron Bay and the surrounding area. The room was more than adequate for our needs with a seperate bathroom and toilet. Had facilities to make your own coffee and to keep your beers and wine cold. The seperate entrance was a welcome addition. Highly recommended for a relaxed stay as it is situated a comfortable walk outside of the huste and bustle of the town centre.

Stayed here as a couples weekend away and loved it. Staff very helpful and friendly, the location is central to everything and a 5 minute walk to shops. Room was clean and I liked the personal touches.

This is what staying at a B&B type establishment is all about. The location of Ruskin House is perfect, near enough the centre to make it an easy 10 minute walk to anywhere, but just far enough out to give nice quiet nights. The Hosts were brilliant; helpful, friendly, well travelled and with great local information. Breakfast is available and I had it one morning and it was a great value, home cooked full breakfast. The room was perfect with a really spacious bathroom, a good TV, tea and coffee making facilities. The Services Club is right across the road, which is handy. I'd recommend this place to anyone. Good wifi too!
