Diane Bon 20/11/2017 22:38Very dated. Heated mirror was 'strange'had to ask for fan non smoking hotel but couldn't open patio window without smelling people smoking on balcony below, carpets stained. Facilities doe not look like pictures. Staff good and responded quickly to requests

JWilliamHon 18/11/2017 23:04As part of Go Ahead Tours group we stayed 4 nights. The hotel is on a busy road, across is the Lake. It is a short walk to town, restaurants and shops. Our room and breakfast room had a wonderful view of the lake. Breakfast room was on 6th floor with many choices. Parking was not an issue for we had a bus pick us up. On the 7th floor construction was taking place. A little noisy and issue with no water.

Tracey Son 18/11/2017 13:29Although the rooms are definitely a little tired the lobby, restaurant and bar hav been renovated and are quite nice this is in conjunction with the opening of QT which is behind Rydges and QT guests will share those facilities. I was a bit excited to try the Bazaar Interactive Marketplace, unfortunately only had breakfast there as it is actually just a glorified buffet and I thought a little overpriced, breakfast was nice but to me was also expensive. Unfortunately the rooms really are only 3 stars, we had a one bedroom suite with 3 uncomfortable single chairs a 2 seater lounge would have been better. The bathroom only had a shower curtain so water everywhere when showering. I can say that the king bed was comfortable at least. Staff were lovely and quite helpful. All in all a good stay, this was in a great location just renovated rooms would have made a huge difference. Also parking is free although only a small area dedicated for carparking there is also street parking free of charge, however this will change next year.
Rydges Queenstown - disaapointing
Maria Con 18/11/2017 03:57Very disappointed in the dated and dirty state of this hotel. Poor considering it is an international hotel brand. We paid $294 for one night in a small room with a dirty and moldy bathroom. Plus even though we paid cash in advance, we were still required to pay an $100 bond and produce a credit card. We will never ever stay there again. I have taken photos of the state of the bathroom.
Great dinning,Rooms Could Use an Update

The hotel itself has larger rooms, a suite design. There’s a walkout to a patio or a balcony. They are circa 1980/90 design and could use an update.
The restaurant and public space has been updated, and the place has an outstanding breakfast.
