Only stayed for one night, wished it could have been more, what a fabulous place to stay, just as advertised. All the staff were amazing and so friendly & helpful and the room was gorgeous we had the deluxe with terrace, they had thought of everything in the rooms and the bonus being the swimming pool and spa. Would love to stay again and the town of Rye is beautiful.

This was our second visit to Rye and to this hotel, the last was five years ago.
On arrival our rooms(courtyard) were rather chilly but warmed up quickly. Although room 17 had to have draft excluder added to the French doors as you could see daylight through the gap! Our updated room had curtains that just about covered the opening with no fullness in them. Everything is clean but dated even though some of the rooms have been modernised. I would suggest that the drapes in the champagne bar haven’t been replaced in years. Part of the charm of this hotel is fact that it’s in a time warp but it still needs to look fresh.
The staff here are excellent, with Anna offering advice on our trip to Hastings after we found out that she lived there. Taking the train was a great idea.
The pool and sauna were great but again need modernising.
All in all a good weekend away at a good hotel with good staff and parking.

Stayed here for a weekend and what a lovely hotel this turned out to be.off road parking and the staff were brilliant, breakfast was really good and the hotel is located right in the centre of town. There is a very nice Indian restaurant down the town which was really good called Mahdi spice. Lovely hotel lovely staff and a really lovely town.

Enjoyed the warmth and cosines of hotel in Feb. When it was very cold outside. Lovely warm swimming pool and excellent breakfast. Bedroom a little old fashioned but was part of the old worldly area and was completely in keeping. We visited National trust areas nearby. Most of Rye was closed in the evenings which was a shame but it was winter
