We (three couples) spent a night here as we were touring the island by bike. It is an older hotel but in excellent condition. Our room was spotless and the breakfast the next morning was excellent. We also ate dinner at their restaurant outside and the food was fabulous. The pool was refreshing and the view over the cove was beautiful. Be sure to walk over to the "caves" bar/nite club attraction...most interesting.

Have just spent 11 nights at this hotel, it’s a small, quiet hotel, with amazing views. We had a second floor room with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool.
On the plus side, this hotel is comfortable, has lovely gardens and pool area which was never busy. The staff are friendly and do work very hard. They were always polite and helpful.
On the minus side, the bathroom towels were always very worn, thin and too small! Some areas could do with an update.
The breakfast was the same every single day, never anything different, and the bread and cake was sometimes stale, which did put us off eating there in the evening.
All in all though we had a lovely relaxing holiday!

This small family operated hotel is simply fantastic. Adults only making it a very peaceful stay in a quite part of Calen Porter (CNP) with only a short walk to the busier main street/square. The hotel is clean with very accommodating attentive staff seeing to your every desire. The rooms are comfortable complete with ensuite and a very nice balcony, we stayed on the upper floor (floor 2) room 208 overlooking the pool with a sea view. The buffet breakfast are very nice with all the staff working extremely hard to serve you. The hotel has a restaurant with very nice food including fresh pastas and pizzas. The pool is good, with an ample amount of sun loungers, what was nice was that NO ONE was laying towels on to reserve the loungers! It a short walk to the lovely beach (5mins) but does entail steep steps down the cliff face, therefore 15 min walk back up! keeps you fit working off all the lovely Spanish food consumed around CNP. If this hotel is in your budget then I suggest you definitely book it, you won't be disappointed.

Checked in and our room was ready early. It was small but the balcony made it feel more spacious and it was no problem. the bathroom was lovely. big and with a waterfall shower :) we quickly went down to the beach which was only a 10-minute walk down the steps. We have been visiting Calan Porter for 20+ years and as always the beach is lovely. However, the walk up is a bit longer!! we had fresh homemade pizza at the restaurant that night which was delicious! the pool is extremely quiet all day long. it is clean and has great facilities and plenty of sun loungers. and even when people are there it is still very quiet (even in August) I couldn't fault the hotel. the pasta and breakfasts are also great and there is a good choice. There are freshly squeezed juices at breakfast and the staff are so friendly. Thank you so much!

Opted for a city view room so that we don't have any noise from the pool area. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and the bathroom was modern. The AC was excellent, very quiet and efficient. Bed was comfortable. The service was excellent. Dinner here had a stunning view of the bay and the food was very nice too - fresh pasta. The offered you umbrellas from the sea and towels for the sea also which was a big bonus. The breakfast was good but nothing special. We would stay here again but wouldn't opt for the sea view or pool view rooms as we think hey would be more noisy.
