Spent two nights (single nights a few days apart) here and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Rooms large and well maintained. Sleep quality excellent. Staff friendly and attentive. Swimming pool was the perfect place to relax after a hot day exploring. It is a short taxi ride into town but was assured by the more active in our group you could easily walk into town in about 20 minutes.
Buffet breakfast was also excellent. Many varieties of food available.
Late check out's available. For a great lunch, try a club burger from the coffee shop. Best burger I had in Malaysia.

We stayed for 2 nights but could have stayed more. Close to plenty of things to do. Lovely relaxing feeling and beautiful pool to cool you down after a day out exploring. The restaurant caters for many tastes.

big beautiful rooms. clean and no musty smell. big swimming pool. centrally located to the middle of town. is very near churches and the local library and restaurants.breakfast good and tasty with variety. bit of a chore with parking though!!

We felt like we were in the movies from the 40s .Was nothing like we've ever stayed in before Was a beautiful entrance into the foyer & reception .....Beautiful big pool area Rooms very spacious lovely area to meet people for coffee Dining staff were very friendly

Stayed here for two nights, the environment feels like you are far from the sandakan city but it is actually near.
Room: stayed in a twin room, bed is comfortable. Had a goodnight sleep. Tv channel mostly are chinese channel, so its quite frustrating for me. The washroom is spacious with bath tub and shower. In bathroom telephone. The room looks old fashioned, not in a bad way old, you get the retro feelings, maybe because they use not a fancy furniture.
If you are going to SDK with family, this place is recommended as it have a big swimming pool. Mind your children to not to go to the deeper side of the pool tho. There also gym, sauna, entertainment club, tennis court.
They provided breakfast, breakfast was superb, many choices to choose for, as it is buffet style. Do come early to avoid hussle.
Parking is hard to find tho, we have a hard time to seek for a place to park the car, its even harder when there are events going on at the hotel.
All in all it was a pleasant stay, staffs are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and tidy. Would definitely stay here again if I were to go to SDK again soon.
