I reviewed Saddlebrook Resort last summer and was told that the dining experience in particular would be vastly improved after my review. In March 2017, I came with my school team for a training trip. We arrived at 6pm ish that evening and were brought to a white tent. When we went inside, we were told by the bored staff that all the food was gone and there was none left. After a long 4 hour flight, we were annoyed to say the least. We were forced to wait for 2 hours at TD's to be served and we had to pay extra. After this experience, they kept us in the tent, with food that was subpar compared even to the inside dining, which was noted in my review was not very good. Again, the tennis program was amazing, but the treatment of junior players must be improved at the resort. Once again I felt less than the regular guests.
Very disappointed. Prob will not return.

Service level is about the best I've ever experienced. Attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Seems like it would be annoying at first that you can't park near the room and everything is valeted, but it's actually fabulous. There is always somebody to take you to your room in a shuttle if you need it, and it's nice to not have the cars near the rooms. Makes for a truly lovely property. Golf course is fabulous and pools are beautiful. Only down side is the rooms are worn and in need of updating. I am a little afraid though because it looked like they were redoing the entire exterior of some of the buildings totally white - from metal roof, to trim. The one that's done is stark and cold, and it will destroy the warmth and comfort you feel walking through the grounds if they do it all. So I recommend you go soon if you're going so you get to experience it the way it should be - unless of course you like stark and cold.

The layout of the property was beautiful and the golf courses and tennis facilities are well maintained. Rooms are a little dated, but very clean and spacious. If you love to spa - would highly recommend their onsite facility. All the food is prepared in house and there is lots to choose from.

I was hesitant to stay at the Saddlebrook resort while my husband and kids were doing tennis camp, but the resort premises and facilities amazed me! Very nice and huge pool area and deck, with bar and shop and pool side dining. Clean and well equipped and furnished pool deck. DJ entertainment pool side as well as kids club and activities.
Luckily our room was facing the pool and we stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. The suites are definitely dated and require remodeling but very clean and it has everything you may need. Perfect for families with children.
Huge fitness center, and 43 tennis courts, huge golf course! This resort has it all.
Breakfast was not the best but had almost everything you expect!
Service and staff are very friendly and professional!
I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

My wife and I were at Saddlebrook for the Fed Cup tennis match between The USA and the Czech Republic. We were provided with a one bedroom suite containing a full kitchen, separate living room and an outdoor patio. The location of the unit was convenient to all resort facilities such as swimming pools, tennis, golf and restaurants. The accommodations, while perhaps requiring some refreshment, were clean and comfortable. The only problem was the noisy refrigerator in the kitchen. We found the service staff to be very friendly and accommodating. The overall ambiance of the resort contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Saddlebrook proved to be a perfect backdrop for a great weekend of Fed Cup tennis.
