We come for the universal shuttle, make sure to reserve in advance as shuttles will fill up on weekends. The room is comfy, and the service is friendly. Has some restaurants and stores within walking distance.

Easy free shuttle to Universal, room was large and clean. Could use some updating. The carpet was old and the bathroom floor was kind of dirty. However, it was a good price and did the job! The pool looked really nice too, great for warmer months.

The hotel near the Universal Studio, and they provide the shuttle to the Universal Studio is very convenience. Strong recommend the guest use their shttle to Universal Studio. The staff is very kind and warm.

Exterior of the mid century hotel is really cool, interior slightly less so, but still a large and clean room. IMO some bits could just do with slightly updating.
Staff were helpful, especially when our toilet blocked!
Didn't try the pool, but still looked very nice.
Would definitely stay again. Burbank is a great location, not just for the studios.

I shopped around for a hotel for my family to stay at during our vacation to Universal Studios and found this historic place to be the best value that was also very close (10 minute drive). The fact that they offer a shuttle service as well is awesome! (side note: It is proper to tip a driver for a shuttle service. We took the shuttle multiple times and I witnessed no others tipping.) The staff and drivers were extremely friendly and accommodating. The only reason I marked sleep quality a 4 and not a 5 is because there were four of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers) so we booked the room with two double beds, which are a little small. This might not be an issue for others with a different compliment of people.
