The Inn was everything we had hoped for and MORE. The entire property was unbelievable. I visited the Inn for a surprise birthday trip with my fiancé. The rooms are modern, yet cozy. When we arrived we were greeted with a fresh plate of berries and cheese- delicious! We immediately headed to the pool where we were lucky enough to enjoy the entire pool to ourselves. This pool is gorgeous! Later in the evening, we went on a mini hike and then sat by the fire place.
One thing I wanted to be sure to highlight was the food. Hands down, some of the best food I have ever had. I loved the signs on the tables with our names- cute little touch! And the cookies! YUM!
Definitely book a massage, you will not be disappointed. Then take a stroll through the garden. Very romantic!
Lately, the staff was outstanding. From check in to check out, we felt like we were being taken care of. They were all so friendly.

We could only stay for one night, but gotta say we sure enjoyed the relaxing peaceful setting at Sage Hill Inn. Did a hike on the trails, sat by the camp fire with a bottle of Rose’ and just enjoyed the view. Didn’t get to use them but the pool and jacuzzi looked so nice. Would have never known there was a Grand Prix race in Austin that weekend. Will be back for a longer stay next time.

My best friend & I spent 3 days & nights at Sage Hill Inn. It was relaxing, peaceful, & quiet. Beautiful Texas sunsets in Fall & sitting by a fire on a chilly night is a great way to recharge. The bed was amazing & the food even better! The staff is very friendly, accommodating & all the personal touches add to the visit. Can’t wait to find a reason to go back!!

We stayed in the Coach House and had a wonderful long soak in the huge beautiful tub in that cabin! We sat by the fire after a couple's massage, and that night we slept better than we've slept in a long, long time!

Me and my wife stayed here as part of a vacation in a Texas. We loved the setting - 90 acres in the Hill Country near Kyle. Be aware though it’s around 1.5 hours drive to Fredericksburg so that may be a better base if that’s what you want to see.
We stayed in Maurice’s coach house, a slightly separate cabin which we liked. Comfy beds, our own patio and fire pit it were very nice. Service was good from the young staff and there is another fire pit where fellow guests can talk after dinner. My wife loved spotting the deer that wander around the property.
Some things to bear in mind if you stay here - breakfast and dinner are included in the price. For dinner there are two choices for starter, entree and dessert which some could find a bit restrictive. For breakfast there is one cooked offering which again could be restrictive if you favour choice. One day when we weren’t hungry and just wanted coffee the breakfast x 2 was still given to us anyway without us even asking for it which was a bit of a waste.
The wine list is good we recommend the local Falls Creek temporanillo.
Not many places like this in the Hill Country we would recommend it.
