Lovely hotel by the side of the road

A lovely hotel by the side of the road, spacious clean rooms with a view of the countryside, and if you're lucky the Himalayas. 24 hour hot-water (your own geezer). We intended to stay one night but stayed two because it was such a nice place.
High Budget and Low Quality

Very Expensive with Poor Quality of Service and Food Provided.....Not even have the courtesy to negotiate on account of Customer Satisfaction. Though a peaceful place with OK Staff....Still Seriously does not worth the money they charge.
Quick day's trip

Sahaj is a budget hotel and go with the same expectation. We booked it for the time as it was close to our daughters school. The mattress is simple foam mattress hence sleep quality is poor. Food is average as well. The courtesy and hospitality of staff was good. View of Himalayas are excellent with commanding view if Mount Trishul.
For peaceful stay

Hotel is on east side of Ranikhet and 8 km away. So every time you have to travel back to city for most of locations. Staff is very cooperative. Food is average since hotel has very small kitchen. Stay has been peaceful and good. There is no view of Himalaya in June from hotel as mentioned by hotel.
excellent location, good food, friendly staff makes your stay memorable

Good choice of hotel at some distance from city. Nice and peaceful environment around the hotel was quite pleasant.
Room was decent in size and feels homely, Balcony was spacious to sit and enjoy the beautiful landscape. Unfortunately i wasn't there in a good weather when you get clear views, still i could capture great sunsets.
Food is decent and adequately priced. The restaurant also has a nice balcony view.
Only thing i rued was the very dangerous stairs for the top floor, which is tough for even an adult, let alone a child.
