Close to premier inn standards but a bit more quirky, and all the better for it. Rooms clean, shower good and linen clean. Car park ok, although bit of a squeeze at times. I would stay again which is key question.

Weekday visit with a last minute booking. Great location in Taunton town. Parking on site included. This is a small hotel in a historic house. Our room was a really generous size, immaculately clean and had all the usual amenities. Tv, kettle, tea coffee, towels etc. Good nights sleep in comfy bed. Breakfast was tasty.

Prompt reply on all my questions, delicious traditional British breakfast. Tidy room with excess equipments (shower gel, hand soap, tea & coffee sets)

We needed a hotel for overnight business trip and Taunton House Hotel turn out to be perfect, the staff were very friendly breakfast was excellent tand the hotel is very close to the town centre ideal for shops and restaurants.

Excellent location near the town centre. Homely and slightly in need of modernisation this a charming and cosy place. The ground floor rooms can be noisy but this time I stayed on the first floor and had wonderful nights. The shower was good and hot but the taps did squeal in the basin, could do with mixer taps as well. Good size rooms and cupboard/drawer space. The breakfast is the best hotel full English I have experienced except no baked beans. I have stayed twice now and will continue to return. Very good value and lovely unobtrusive staff.
