Comfortable, welcoming and convenient
kay_ferguson 19/11/2017 20:35My room here was comfortable, spacious and the hotel has an air of class about it. Lovely en-suite bathroom too, as well as being well staffed. The restaurant is excellent where the food is delicious and the service prompt. I would definitely stay here again given the chance.

AnneIan112017on 19/11/2017 15:51We had our wedding celebration at the Salutation Hotel on 11/11/17. We had a tremendous day. We cannot stress enough how brilliant all of the Staff at the Salutation Hotel are. We, along with our many guests, were extremely well looked after at all times. The food is excellent too. We simply could not be any happier with choosing the Salutation as our venue. It was a perfect choice. The organisation beforehand was also first class and absolutely stress free. We would (and already have!) recommended the Salutation Hotel to anyone for a short break or something bigger!
On the whole - very good
George Don 18/11/2017 15:59We went here on a "Turkey and Tinsel" 5 day break. We were given a large family room (3 single beds - 2 pushed together to make a double), we also had a full size bath and overhead shower. Hotel clean and well run. Breakfast one of the best I have had - hot and plenty of it !! Evening meals were 3 courses. Starter and sweet were served and main was always a carvery. The chef serving the carvery didn't stint on his servings. This was a most enjoyable base for our visit.
Great Value for money
Kenneth Hon 16/11/2017 14:45I stayed here for 1 night in the middle of October, I found check in to be easy, room to be warm, bed to be comfortable , breakfast was a standard buffet type and was pretty good quality. I really cannot complain about anything.
Another superb stay
Clinky123on 12/11/2017 19:21What can I say! This hotel is fantastic ! Great staff which are always very help full. Superb room ensuite . Warm and friendly bar with a good selection of beer and wines. I stay here every two weeks and would highly recommend it.
