Very good place, but the staffs are not so friendly..but its ok can manage..
Had booked the room for 4 people through make my trip..
Had initially planned the trip for 4 ppl, but later it got reduced to only 3..
It was a 1BHK home with all amenities..but when we checked in we understood the room was for only 3 members, somehow we were lucky as we were only 3..
so please make sure while booking the room , how many people they will allow in a home..

stayed san joao with family for two days. it was a pleasant experience. the hotel was very clean and cheep . its perfect for the families. its not a beach front hotel. but location is quite and peaceful. and the service also was very good. i strongly recommend this hotel especially for families .

Large one bed apartment- old fashioned but clean. Noisy air conditioning. Fridge, kettle, safe and tv. Things kept breaking but were replaced immediately. Owner is lovely- very friendly and helpful. Pool was a bit grubby but beach is only 15 mins away and its a nice interesting walk. Not much nearby- couple of supermarkets. Cafe josephine opposition does delicious samosas for about 12p. Quite a few mozzies in the evening. No restaurant or bar but we were out every evening so it didn't matter. However, if you do want a beer they will whizz off on their moped and get you some. Local beach is called Vardy- beautiful beach- only a few shacks - free wifi in most of them. Facing the sea walk 10 mins to your right and its benaulim beach- bit busier and tourist shops. San joao is great value for money.

The apartments are in a very quite spot the nearest bars and restaurants and the beech are a 5 minute cab ride or a 25 minute walk the rooms are large and clean but very basic and dated if you are on a budget it will suffice
