I was walking on the John Muir Way, solo
Before I even got there, I was late so the landlady phoned me just to check that I was OK which was really sweet
On arrival, I was shown to my room, so much more than I was expecting from their web site, (I think the site may of been updated since I booked) really large twin room with a really clean on-suite bath room
The home made shortbread on arrival and the home made bread for breakfast was a real treat, I even left the following day with some of the bread in case I got hungry
Excellent guests lounge with local information and a telescope over the sea view
I really would recommend this B & B as a place to stay
A little bit out of town but worth it for the views and the quiet
Perfect in every way

We so enjoyed our stay here. In a great location, this is a most comfortable bed and breakfast run by Jimmy and Angie who couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Our comfortable bedrooms provided everything we needed and we very much enjoyed sitting in the lounge which overlooks the beach and sea. We looked forward to breakfast, good choice of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, home made bread, and the cooked breakfast was perfect. And, as mentioned by others, Angie's shortbread is outstanding! All in all a 5* experience.
Cozy and on the Beach

We stayed at the Wing on the recommendation of a friend who lives nearby. The hosts were friendly and generous. We had a cozy room at the back of the house overlooking the green. The lounge at the front overlooks the beach and the water. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Close to town, including the train station (approx 15 minutes walk). Lots of character. Happily stay there again.
Perfect

10/10 for room and general facilities and view.
10/10 for the cooked breakfast
10/10 for helpful friendly owners.
Situated in the East side of the town. Within a short walk of harbour and town.
I will definately be staying again.
Oh and 10/10 for the homemade shortbread.
Excellent B&B - couldn't fault it.

We stayed in a very comfortable twin bedded room with en-suite facility. We received a very warm greeting from Angie and Jimmy, a delightful couple. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Home baked cake was waiting for us on our arrival. Breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from including home made bread. Spectacular view looking over to the Bass Rock which could be seen from the residents' lounge. Within easy walking distance to North Berwick town centre. Overall, we would highly recommend The Wing and would most definitely return if we were to visit the area in the future. Many thanks, Angie & Jimmy
