We have just returned from a lovely stay in our two bedroom apartment. The grounds are as lovely as the photographs shown on the website. A tranquil atmosphere. Owners Richard and Karen were so welcoming and arranged our trips on request, all of which we enjoyed with no hitches. Despite our stay being the week of storms and rain this did not mar our holiday but added to the tropical experience :-) Although not on the beach front it is only just round the corner (a matter of a couple of minutes walk) and so much quieter amongst the tropical gardens. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Sanctuary Palm Cove! The owners are very friendly; greeting us whenever we see them, offering suggestions on where to eat or what to do... and the property is beautiful. Lots of tropical foliage, Lots of different birds chirping away. We had the Private Studio and it was great. Plenty of space, very private, nice king bed. And it's only a 2 minute walk to Palm Cove beach, which is gorgeous! There is a long stretch of restaurants along the beach as well, so everything is conveniently within walking distance.

We stayed in a spacious two bedroom apartment for six nights. The resort does not have a beach/water view, but is a 3 minute walk to the waters edge. This is a very quiet and beautiful setting and the staff are very friendly and happy to assist in any way. They are able to guide you regarding trips to the attractions of the Great Barrier Reef.
Palm Cove itself is a quiet and attractive place to stay and just relax. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay when travelling to the Cairns/North Queensland region of Australia.

I would liken number 4 Sanctuary to lounging in a hammock. It's an excellent place to clear the head. I would suggest that if you're staying here for a few days, seriously make time to sit in the apartment, open up all the windows and have a thought or read a book.
Like a hammock, when you walk in the door here your mindset changes. If I were ever going to write a book, come up with a million dollar idea or simply put the stresses of everyday life behind me, I would relocate here for the foreseeable future. The apartment provides the illusion of staying in a tree house, which brings an entirely new serenity to a relaxed tropical getaway. Add a natural lagoon with a small fountain and a few kookaburra and it really becomes a unique beach side accommodation.
I loved it here.
If you're looking for an accommodation which adds to your Palm Cove experience when you're not exercising, in a restaurant or at the beach, I would stay here.

Have flown from Darwin to Palm Cove north of Cairns in Queensland.Sanctuary Palms resort is 5 minutes walk to the beach front. Beautiful accommodation overlooking a lily filled lake with fountain & adjacent swimming pool. Tropical sea breezes fill the top floor apartment & surrounded by gum trees & birds. Walk out of the front gate to the esplanade along the beach front with captivating ocean views. Small cafes and apartments & almost no traffic.
Relaxation plus!!!
