Good Place

The location makes this a good place to stay. You may walk to the Churches or the beach near by. If you are planning travel and abroad, you will be able to make all your necessary purchases from nearby shops that sell on offers. The Residency serves decent complimentary breakfast and to my experience the rooms are pretty clean contrary to what others may have posted. You can buy yum softies and other daily needs right out side the gates. The railway station is at a walk-able distance. The room boys may however, walk in without knocking and that may not go well with the guest.
My stay at Chennai

As I had to spend one night at Chennai and proceed the next morning to Pondicherry, I was seeking a budget hotel. Location is bad, rooms are bad and bathroom the worst I have seen. I felt unsafe in a strange city.
Worst experience...

Actually I went for dinner there with friends. The food was not good and that to they have very limited food, when we order they cook there and make delay.. The taste was not good and the prices also very. Me and my friends were not satisfied..
Tasty south Indian and North Indian cuisine here!

Located in a convenient location at the Luz corner Mylapore,Chennai, this one is my favourite joints for the authentic South Indian Lunch and North Indian dinner.
Has a great ambience, clean atmosphere. The service personnel are polite and quick. The food is great and worth its cost.I would recommend Masala Dosa and Rava Dosa and crisp vada for the breakfast, south Indian thaali for lunch. For the dinner soft phulkas with dhall tadka, mixed vegetable pot are my choice.
Do not miss Sangeetha Residency when you are in Chennai Mylapore.
A Hotel Must To Avoid For Stay !
Amrish S on 06/07/2016 10:31
I, along with my friend visited Channai for 4 days' stay. Initially, we stayed for one night at Sangeetha Residency, Mylapore, Chennai since two rooms were booked in this hotel by one of my local friend. We reached hotel at 10.00 PM on 21/06/2016. We thought that we could stay in a double occupancy room but rooms were too unhygienic and having very bad smell, thus we decided to stay for on night only because it was night and too late to find out a suitable place to stay. We requested the reception person to spray room freshners in the rooms. The hotel staff sprayed floor cleaner area of rooms. It was giving very bitter and bizarre smell whole night. The toilets were also not poperly cleaned. Hot water was not available for bath. I could not sleep properly. The very next morning, we decided to leave this hotel. Shockingly, we were charged Rs.2000/- per room for single occupancy. We paid Rs.4000/- (approx) for two rooms. The Reception staff was very arrogant too while we were checking out. He did not behave with us properly. The night of 21/06/2016 was terrible for us at this hotel. One must think twice before moving in here.. Dr Amrish Sinhaa, Mumbai
