I have visited Wayanad with my family and stayed at Sanjeevani resort which is situated near by the town but calm and quiet atmosphere with cooling effect . Major attraction is the ambience & swimming pool. Food was good...

We have booked 6 bedroom AC villa house with swimming pool via wayanad home stays travel agent Ranjith.
Once reached there we got shock on everything as listed below:
1. Swimming pool - Full of dirty and green water. Only lot of insects were swimming in the pool.
2. Rooms - Very bad smell, No ventilation, Not able to stand in the bathroom(few kids got vomiting also). No hot water (even at 1PM, normal water is of very very cold). Kids cried a lot while took bath with that cold water (since we traveled from long so we have to took bath).
3. Complimentary breakfast - Horrible. They served bread with fungus (instead of bread with jam). Idly not cooked properly. Tea without milk.
4. Wifi - Only for that Manager - Santhosh. Works only in reception room.

We stayed at this facility for 2 Nights .... First of all this is not a resort this is just an upscale lodge at a remote place.. We were on a family trip to Wayanad during May 1st Weekend .... After lot of search ,Mr. Santhosh of this facility promised us rooms so we ended up here ... From the moment we checked in it was all compromise.. The rooms were shabby not cleaned dirty pillow, Dirty sheets ... Bathrooms were not clean frequent power cuts .... No hot water ..... They have only 2 boys to attend all room services after a wile we felt bad for those boys and we stopped asking them for help .... We had booked a Suite room and a double room .... total we paid Rs.185000 for 2 nights i felt cheated at end for the price and facility provided .... we went here just because it had a swimming pool so that kids will have some fun time at pool ... But pool is unusable water stinks .... apart form this there are no other recreation at this facility ..... during our stay every one checking out fought with the resort owner .. they have very shabby kitchen all the plates .. glass etc ... are not washed properly the entire dining hall stinks ... we had dinner from there kitchen for a night it was horrible .. and they charge a premium for that too .... and the free breakfast they offer is not worth Rs 10 per head if you eat outside .. horrible food prepared so better stay away from this place .. don't get fooled by the photos they have posted and the good reviews you see .. trust stay at this place will make your trip horrible ....

We have booked the room at sanjeevani resort (Payment done and confirmed the reservation before travel), but during check-in informed as no room in resort. At the end they offer dormitory instead of AC room which we had booked. Attitude from the reception person was very arrogant, We suspects he given the room with high cost which we have booked.

We stayed at Sanjivani Resort for 3 days and the facilities offered were excellent and the staffs were very cooperative and food provided as per our request was awesome.
We strongly recommend to stay in this hotel.
