This a pretty little hotel with a marvelous location in the Albaicin and near the Alhambra. Our room was spacious and comfortable and looked out on a central courtyard with a fountain as do all the rooms. It has a very romantic feel to it. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. Tea and coffee are always available in a lovely sitting room.

This is a charming boutique hotel in the picturesque Albayzin old Moorish section of Granada. They have a parking lot but given the maze of narrow roads in the Albayzin we were very glad we chose not to drive there. The rooms surround a central courtyard. Our room (#8) was extremely spacious and well appointed. The staff is friendly and helpful. An excellent buffet breakfast is included beginning at 7:00 AM (very unusual to start this early in Spain), so you can get to the Alhambra (about a 40 minute walk down the hill to downtown and up the hill on the other side) when they open. Complementary lemonade is supplied and is very refreshing on a hot day. This was the nicest hotel of our one month in Spain. One negative is that the front door opens directly on to a narrow street which carries traffic including city busses, and you have to be very careful on leaving or you could be seriously clocked by a moving vehicle. The other negative was the obvious drug dealing taking place in the playground right under our window.

We took a taxi from the train station in Granada to our hotel Santa Isabel. The hotel is located in a cozy corner among narrow cobble-stoned streets that make you feel you've gone back in time.
The room was large and comfortable with balconies where you could see the quiet street outside with hardly anybody around!
We found out that you can go up to the rooftop and behold the magesty of Granada, with a view of the the Alcazar and Cathedral towering above the rooftops. One of my favorite experiences!

A great hotel and very accommodating! Beautiful! Very quaint! Great location! Would recommend highly and would stay there again myself! Breakfast was included and was excellent. The owner was very knowledgeable about the area and how to best “see it all”!

My husband and I had a fabulous 2 night stay at Santa Isabel la Real! Everything about the place was fantastic, starting with the staff who were so welcoming and spoke very good English. The room was so pretty, clean, and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The fresh lemonade and treats in the lounge in the afternoons were wonderful. Plus the St Nicholas lookout is any easy walk with magical views of the Alhambra. We found the bus that stops outside the hotel to be a huge timesaver. If we ever make it back to Granada, we will certainly stay again but hopefully for longer.
