We had a great room with a balcony that overlooked the Cala so we were able to sit out each evening and enjoy a sundowner prior to venturing down to the restaurant for dinner where even at the end of the season the food remained good

Spent a long weekend at this lovely beach spot. Hotel was very clean and the staff were excellent. They gave us free beach towels, brought a blanket for the room quickly when I asked for one and even gave us towels to shower at the pool before our flight the day we had to check out. Stunning view of the beach and a really quiet place to chill out. Great balcony that catches the late afternoon sun. Pool was nice but we didn't use it. If you want more comfort, sun beds on the beach are hired for €15 for the whole day which was well worth it in my opinion. Bus is easy (64, taken at the top of the hill) to and from Cuitadella which is massively worth a visit. So pretty with great restaurants. Can't go wrong at this hotel!

Visited the hotel for a short break, staying 3 nights Friday to Monday. Lovely location right next to the beach and perfect for a chilled few days.
Hotel is basic, but very clean and we had a room with a lovely balcony overlooking the beach and sea.
Reasonable choice of breakfast options, perfectly adequate.
There are a few restaurants around the hotel for lunch and dinner, all were good.
Ciutadella is only a short journey away if you fancy something a bit more lively.
Taxi from the airport takes about 50 minutes and cost approx 55 Euros, there is a bus service as well, cheaper but takes a while!
Overall a great place for a quiet chilled out break.

Stayed at the Hotel Playa Santandria for just under a week and it was pure bliss. Checking in was fantastic as we arrived 2 hours early but they had our room ready in under 30 mins.tony on Reception was very helpful and advised us a lot during our stay. Our Room was Sea facing on the Top floor and the View was stunning. The Room was nice & clean and we had no complaints. There are 3 Restaurants with in 300 yds of the Hotel the best being Cova Sa Nacra which was overlooking the bay and lovely food. Do try the Restaurant/ Bar under the Hotel as well. Ciutadella & Cala'n Bosch were 15 minutes in the Bus which was at the Top of the road and easy to take. All the people were nice & friendly and I will deffo be going back again next year highly recommend!

We have visited Santandria Playa twice now and each time we have had a fantastic time.
If you don't have children or are in the fortunate position of being able to (legally) leave them at the airport you will be in for a treat of incredible views, great food and fantastic personal service one would expect at the grandest of resorts at much greater cost.
The room was nice and clean on arrival with housekeeping doing a great job throughout our stay. The hotel sits on the beach so the view at breakfast is only beaten by the sun setting into the sea in the evening.
Several people we spoke to in the hotel restaurant are regular visitors as we have now become. A testament to this hotel and its excellent staff headed up by two fantastic hosts Gabriele and his brother Paulo. We plan to go back later in the year so please, keep this place a secret, don't tell ANYONE, as it really is a hidden gem!!
