We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Savoy. The hotel is truly exquisite. The room was beautiful, overlooking Piazza della Repubblica.
The service is outstanding and the restaurant divine.
I highly recommend the Savoy!

From the time we arrived to the very end we were treated like royalty.
The room, the service, the ambience and amenity were outstanding. We have stayed at 5 star hotels throughout Italy over the past 3 weeks, including world famous hotels. They were wonderful but if we were to choose our favourite, the Savoy is a standout.

The luxury hotel is right in the centre of what everything Florence has to offer. Right opposite to Piazza Della Repubblica, it is in walking distance of 2 minutes from The Duomo. Shopping, both from luxury brands to local retail shops, Lounges with music as well as cafes for just chilling are all around the Hotel.
Apart from the location, the hotel staff is very friendly and warm enough to assist in any service, even if its outside their list. I will quote this, as one of my sandals broke on Sunday morning and I requested if the Concierge can help me with repairs as it was my most favourite and comfortable. The person told me, it would be difficult getting it outside as being Sunday bit he would ask if the maintenance can do something about it. Voila, in the evening, I see my sandals perfectly repaired. I think that was very nice of the hotel staff to do something like this. I would surely go back to them everytime, I am in Florence.

From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel we loved it. This hotel is located steps from Piazza Del Republica, and around the corner from the Duomo. It's honestly the best located hotel we could find. We could wake up early and walk the few blocks to the Ponte Vecchio before the crowds rushed in. We also enjoyed opening our terrace doors so we could hear the bells of the Duomo ringing. The service was exceptional and the restaurant and hotel staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Rocco Forte does not disappoint, we can't wait to go back. We heard the are renovating which will probably make it even more amazing.

Just returned from a quick trip to Florence, where I had decided to stay at the Savoy. Initially, I had considered the Four Seasons, but you can not beat the location of the Savoy, literally 2-3 min walk to the famous cathedral and 10 mins to the art galleries. Shopping and dining are right outside. The staff was excellent and helpful in providing recommendations and getting transportation for us when needed. I felt the rooms' decor is a little old-fashioned and I think my mattress was due for a replacement, but who wants to stay in and sleep in such a great city anyway? Also the bathroom is quite tight, but if you are looking for a home base from which to explore Florence, consider the Savoy.
