The location is good. The attraction places can be reach by walk. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.
There was a surprise on my birthday. The hotel staff was brought a small cake and send to my room for my birthday. That was a great moment for me during my holiday in Chiang Mai.

We booked into this hotel as a group of 10 taking 5 rooms, On check in our room smelt damp but we were so tired so we accepted it. The hotel is quirky and i noticed the bathroom was not tiled and the walls had damp on them and the showers had wires on show which in my eyes makes them a death trap.
On the second day we went out to a temple and came back about 4pm and as we entered the room we were overcome by the smell of Raw Sewage. I went downstairs and told the receptionist and she said she had 3 rooms with the same problem but had no room to move us to. I told her we could not stay in this room and she agreed and called the owner. The owner said they would refund 1 day from our 3 day day stay as it was 4 pm and they could not rent the room that night. I said this was unnaccetable as i could not stay in the room through no fault of my own as it was stinking of the worst smell imaginable. I spoke to the owner and she was adamant- No refund and she was so rude. I then told her i would call Booking.com to sort this and she then relented and refunded about 90% of my money due.
We went around the corner and checked into The Vista hotel which was 20% cheaper and better altogether.
Do yourself a favour and book eleswhere as this hotel is smelly with terrible customer service and the rooms are well dated.
The owner is so rude it is unbelievable. Customer service and fair play is not shown here.
Oh i forgot to mention there is a building site going on directly behind this hotel and you will be woken up with lots of noise at 7am. Literally 5 metres from my window.

Big clean rooms with nice shower smooth bed, ac and great wifi. Super friendly and helpfull staff. Stayed her for 6 weeks. Ther's a nice breakfast garden and kitchen times are 6am to 2pm. This is price/quality top! See you next year.

I spent 3 nights here and enjoyed a large room with AC. there was some construction going on in the back however for the most part it was quiet. one of the ladies at the front desk was super helpful and able to speak both languages which helped in booking my excursions. the hotel also gave a 10% discount on all excursions.

The Sabaidee Chiangmai Hotel is located in the north of Chiang Mai Old Town. Within 15-20 minutes walking, you reach almost every spot in Old Town. The rooms are clean and really big. We had a room to the back and it was quite quiet. But I think even the rooms to the front should be quiet as well as the hotel is in a small sidestreet. The staff is very friendly & smiling and always pleased to help you.
You can have breakfast until 2 pm for only 150 Baht. Just the coffee could be better. It's really strong and not soooo tasty :)
