This hotel is really worth a visit. The lane up to it is very narrow but take your time and you will be fine. We got parked right outside the hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Friendly staff.
It is the views that really make this place.!! Spectacular, just go and see it😊
Dinner was nothing special.
Breakfast was lovely, lots to chose from, if you fancy a boiled egg just ask the waiters.

...but I hated this hotel. All style and little substance. It is half way up a mountain and once there and without a car you are trapped. The car park is a 5 minute walk up/down a fairly steep cobbled winding road which is surprisingly busy and you may have to drag your suitcase! There is no shuttle service to the town below (but there is a bus), nowhere to go for coffee or an ice cream or simply to watch the world go by. The public rooms are spacious as is the dining room and terrace but the bedrooms are in need of upgrading and you can't swing a cat in the bathrooms. Breakfast was good (ask for eggs!) but the food was generally abysmal but I guess it depends on your standards. The view from the terrace is spectacular but the hotel is tired with one bulb in light fittings that require more. Whatever boxes they manage to tick this hotel is in no way 4 star; three on a good day. Pleasant staff and lots of hot water but if you want the Italian experience this is not the place to stay and it's not convenient in any way - unless you want to escape civilisation!

The property is really impressive and cute with beautiful views from the restaurant, swimming pool and terraces in general. Our room has also a view to the mountains but it was not so great as the one from the restaurant. The room was a bit small for 3 people. I did not like particularly the furniture. It was a bit outdated. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the quality rice ratio was good but I did not like my appetizer and to compensate for that they offer me a free dessert. We have one of the most relaxed, nice breakfast we have had in a very long time in the hotel terrace. The only minus point is the location, a bit far so you really need a car. Also a bit isolated so you do not have many options for dinner.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights.
Comfortable and clean room with a great view towards Salerno. Nice bathroom, but not very big..
Great breakfast, with many options.
Having breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day. The view was fabulous..
Lovely pool area with sunbeds and great service. Great restaurant with lovely food.
A charming hotel in a nice and quiet area with friendly and helpful staff.
Will we go back..? Yes ..:-)
Anything negative?
The cooffe machine in the breakfast restaurant drips coffee into the tea water..
Finding the hotel can be difficult.
But worth looking for :-)

This is a wonderful property. Founded in 1821. We were greater by friendly staff. Our room was fantastic. The meals were all included and are incredible. Not close to anything, but hotel has everything. Great jump off spot to walk Amalfi coast. Don't think twice. Pick this one
