This motel is in the middle of Vernon. It is well located to walk and see the wall paintings of this place. The room was spacious, good beds and refrigirator. The lady at the reception was very kind and helpfull.

Visiting friends in Vernon August long weekend thought I would pay a fortune for accommodation. Ended up booking this motel for $90. Clean room, small kitchen, great location to all restaurants. I would recommend for a night or several if visiting the area.

Three nights spent here in June and was pleasantly surprised with this little gem of a motel. Had the back corner room which was so roomy for two adults and a dog. Very clean and well maintained and the laminate flooring is great for "pet rooms". Beds could be a little more comfortable but it was a great deal for just three nights.

Called the Schell on a Friday. My dog and I were coming into Vernon and meeting my husband there on the Saturday and staying for 2 nights. We were coming to see a friend that was in hospital there. When I asked about having Tucker in the room and told her that he was a bigger dog (American Bulldog) the manager Brenda was so accommodating! She said that a regular room probably wouldn't be big enough, so put us in a kitchenette for the same price. It was awesome. The motel is older, but very well maintained and clean. There were no carpets in the room, which was great! The staff was very nice and polite. The air conditioning worked like a charm! Have absolutely nothing negative to say.

The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was very clean and even had wood floors no carpet! I choose to have a kitchenette and it has everything you need even a toaster!
The bed was comfy and clean, good pillows , warm blankets. Clean bathroom with tub! I was greeted with smiles by the employees and as I checked out. I liked that the rooms were non smoking and they are a pet friendly hotel but have pet rooms separate from ppl who don't have pets. Close to grocery stores, corner stores across the street, restaurants around, quiet area.
I just don't understand why you can't reverse stall park because the parking lot can be tricky depending on the size of yours and others vehicles. Wifi was fast and the staff had the air conditioning running for me before I got there!
I'm not sure where else you can get a hotel that's clean, looks nice, friendly staff and has a kitchenette for a little over 100$! Outstanding !
