We really loved everything about our stay at Scuba Lodge. The location is prime (plenty to walk to in terms of great restaurants and downtown, parking is easy). The room (we had a standard room) was very clean, and the bed comfortable. Despite not being ocean-front, we slept with the windows open and still could hear the ocean. The restaurant is awesome - while there are plenty of nearby restaurants, if you do choose to eat here, you'll be happy (I recommend breakfast!). We had easy wifi connectivity on our phones and computers throughout the place - in our room, at the pool, and in the restaurant. The pool, while small, is lovely. There are also a lot of nooks to sit and hang out - it's easy to find your own quiet spot to relax on the grounds. True to its name, you can rent scuba and snorkel gear from their shop. Finally, the staff are the true gem of the place - they are all SO helpful, wear big smiles, and are really just wonderful people that seem happy to be there. We especially appreciated Stefanie, who gave us a one-on-one meeting better than any tour guide could! She sat with us and a map, and highlighted all kinds of great things for us. Our whole time in Curacao we joked, "we can't wait to tell Stefanie where we were!"
If I come back to Curacao, I would definitely want to stay at Scuba Lodge again. It's the perfect boutique hotel!

I stayed at scuba lodge for 7 nights and i have to say that this is the best staff i have ever had the pleasure of knowing ...From the reception,cleaning staff,maintenance staff,restaurant staff to the dive shop staff.......the whole crew were professional,personable, friendly,easygoing and just comfortable to be around and talk with......this place is a well run establishment .........kudos to management and the whole staff

In need of a short break I booked at Scuba Lodge after recommendation of a friend. I am extremely happy that I listened to my friend! From Check In - Check Out the team of Scuba Lodge was fantastic. They were very kind and helpful. I had planned to eat out a lot but stayed at the Scuba Lodge. I have a food allergy and to my positive surprise everybody remembered that from day one. I enjoyed every meal. Housekeeping ladies are nice and fast. Room was very clean. And the infinity pool ... I am not going to write about that ... because you have to see that for yourself!! Wow.

My partner and I have just returned home after 13 nights at the Scuba Lodge & Suites hotel. Having selected the hotel based on the positive reviews on tripadvisor and the on site dive shop we were absolutely thrilled with our selection.
The hotel is clean, spacious, with absolutey fantastic service - every member of staff was friendly and helpful going out of their way to help in whatever way they can. The hotel is in a fantastic location, a 5 min walk from a great selection of restaurants in the Pietermaai district and 10 min walk to Willemstad. That said the on site restaurant offers a varied menu and has themed nights - the BBQ and Saté nights are not to be missed!
We hired a car for the full duration of our stay however in hindsight we would have utilised the rental service offered by the hotel on the days we needed it to reduce cost.
The pool is stunning and quiet and whilst there is no beach access this encourages you to explore the island and discover the many beautiful beaches it has to offer.
The onsite dive shop provides an excellent service and experience tailored to individuals in small groups. The scuba bus is also a great way to get around the island.
We thoroughly recommend the hotel!

My husband and I recently returned from a dive trip to Curaçao and we stayed at Scuba Lodge. From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be a great trip. The staff were so friendly at check in and provided us with all of the information we needed to get settled in. We got to our standard room and it was spacious, clean and even had a personalized greeting for us. The property is a good size but small even to feel like a community. We did our advanced certification with the team at scuba lodge and loved every experience. Daan, Tim and Jordy were all amazing dive instructors. They were extremely thorough on every dive and no matter how competent they believed us to be, they still went through a briefing and safety reminders. We felt like we were in great hands! We didn’t get to dive with Adriaan but his personality was so fun! The housekeeping staff was great, our room always looked great, the restaurant staff were attentive and we would like to make a special mention to Dalies at the front desk. She ALWAYS greeted us with a smile, provided great restaurant recommendations and answered every question we had. This property is in a great location within walking distance to all of the great restaurants and bars. When we return to Curaçao we won’t stay anywhere else! Thanks so much!
