Average hotel, Excellent location

We just stayed at this hotel for the sidewalk chalk festival and we booked this hotel due to its reasonable price. We were very pleasantly surprised with its location which was directly across from the ocean and overlooked the festival itself. Although the actual hotel itself is average and room 404 wasn't all that pretty (large hole behind in room safe, small chunk of wall missing in bathroom), it was clean and the bed was actually quite comfortable. The front desk gentleman upgraded our room for free to a gulf front balcony room and the view was fantastic. It's a great location, reasonably priced so, for a weekend at Clearwater Beach, you can't ask for better.

Our stay at Seaside Inn&Suites was very brief but I have to say the from the. He king with Ms Dee who greater us with a smile and checked us in early in the morning,to the room that was specious and clean, it's not one of those big names hotel but for the price and the view and friendliness of the staff made our stay excellent. I will recommend my family and friend and will return here next summer.
A Gem By the Gulf on Clearwater Beach

It's not the Ritz Carlton, but if you're looking for beach side, comfortable, clean and spacious accommodations...at a great price...don't overlook the Seaside Inn.
Rooms are huge, by today's standards. Ours included two double beds, a real dining area and kitchenette with microwave, small refrigerator and a two burner stove top....perfect accommodations for a family. Rooms have their own balconies with direct or side views of the Gulf and marinas. Within walking distance there are a number of restaurants...including a McDonalds...perfect to keep the kids happy or grab a cup of coffee as you sit on the balcony and enjoy the sights. Spend the day, across the street on Clearwater Beach or at the hotel pool...which is clean and well maintained!
I was impressed with the staff, who were extremely friendly. Raymond checked us in and he was a true delight.
One important note...you will have to pay for parking...which is $10 a day...as parking is tough to find in this busy area of of CB.
Seaside isn't the newest place...but has that "beach hotel" feel we all grew up with and can't be beat, on many levels.
Met All Basic Needs

My family of 5 checked in late Saturday night by a nice elderly gentleman at the front desk - he gave us great tips on where to eat, and told us about the free ride service that they offer in the area. The place itself is older with visible wear and tears and the elevator is really small and stuffy, so we opted to use the stairs a lot of the time we were there. OUr room was very basic but clean, although they can spend a little more time cleaning the bathrooms but other than that, no major complaints at all. The location of this hotel and for the price we paid is why I gave it 4 stars. If you are looking for luxury and upscale, this won't be the place for you. But, if you are just needing a good location with good service, I'd look into staying here. I loved the direct access to the beach.
Booking tip: book directly with the hotel rather than through a 3rd party and they waive the $15 a night parking fee.
