Post Wedding R&R
Hay1312on 05/10/2017 17:19My other half and I got married in Dalyan in Sep and booked Sedir to spend the week after our wedding.
From the time of arrival, Baki, Filiz and Barkan couldn't do enough for us, such a homely place built for relaxation. After a hectic week before our wedding, we had no plans for this week - just to chill - and what a place to do it. The room was so clean, and laden with flowers when Baki realised we were newlyweds, a lovely surprise. Breakfast was delicious and the shuttle into town is perfect for lazy days when you don't want to walk in the heat. My favourite thing had to be the views, walking up to a bright blue (clean) pool and beautiful mountain surroundings was exactly what we needed!
We know Dalyan well and will come back here for sure!
Thanks again to Baki and the family - we hope to see you soon!
A little piece of paradise
Caly11on 01/10/2017 12:11Just spent another week at this wonderful place. This was our fifth visit to Sedir and it just gets better each year. Baki, Filiz, Barkin and their helpers couldn't do more to make this the perfect place for a holiday. Simple but lovely rooms, beautiful surroundings and the most fantastic, fresh food - so right in all the essentials. These lovely people nurture and nourish their guests in every way. If you need anything, just ask.
Dalyan itself is quiet but has everything you might need surrounded by beautiful scenery and nature. Wonderful warm people. A river trip with Kaptan Mehmet is a must!
Best family holiday ever!
Vincent van Goghon 13/08/2017 20:19This was our 6th time in Dalyan but our first stay at Sedir. Now we can't imagine staying anywhere else! From the very first interaction we were impressed by the owners' responsiveness and friendliness. All questions we emailed prior to our arrival were answered very promptly and with a lot of attention. And from the first moments at the hotel we felt immediately relaxed and at home. It felt like we had known Baki, Filiz and Barkin for much longer - just like most other guests who had been coming year after year. They pay a lot of personal attention to their guests, making them feel welcome and at ease. They enquire about activities you have undertaken or may want to pursue, and are more than willing to make bookings or enquiries.
We stayed for three weeks and although we had a car and were out a fair bit, after a day trip up or down the coast our girls (7 and 3) always asked to spend time at the hotel. It didn't actually feel a hotel at all - more like staying with friends. The territory of Sedir is nicely laid out (as if it was thought out by a garden designer, although Baki and Filiz did it themselves) and very well maintained, green grass, interesting plants, and blooms everywhere. Honey-coloured stone on the paths. It is also very clean - the garden itself, the outside furniture, all the cushions and hammocks (I noticed because in our previous experience in other places they can be worn out and dusty...). The swimming pool is quite big. The rooms are also very good. We had a family room on the first floor, and with two kids it was very convenient to have a fridge and a little kitchenette. Even though we didn't cook proper meals ourselves, we wanted to keep some yogurts and stuff to make sandwiches for the girls.
One of the best parts of staying at Sedir are the delicious meals that Filiz cooks: from different kinds of starters/mezze to deliciously grilled fresh fish, Turkish meat balls, stuffed aubergines and many other delicacies.
In short: stay at Sedir and you will keep coming back!
Perfect Holiday
on 30/07/2017 22:26We have been visiting the Sedir for over 10 years now, and I don't think we will ever tire of going here. The resort is idyllic, spotlessly clean, and Baki, Filiz, Orcun and Barkin are perfect hosts. The location is very peaceful, being a short drive out of Dalyan, but still easily accessible.
Evenings dining at the poolside enjoying beautiful home made Turkish cuisine are a joy, and the option also exists to dine in Dalyan if you choose.
If you are looking for relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings away from crowds then this is the place for you.
Perfect Holiday
conorwilloefcon 30/07/2017 20:29This was our third visit at the Sedir Resort and yet again Baki, Filiz and Barkin didn't fail to disappoint. If you are a fan of beautiful views, amazing food and brilliant company well the Sedir is defanilty for you. A huge thank you to the rest of the staff also for keeping our room spotlessly clean and also for helping me out during a water fight with Barkin haha.
Again thank you and we will see you again next year.
