Amazing bike vacation in the middle of the Alps in the heart of the Giro!

I've been leading cycling adventure holidays in Europe for over 20 years, and nothing compares to the hospitality and the amenities you'll find at Serenella. Alessandro and his team go far beyond what is needed to make a stay at Aprica "enjoyable". With 13 cyclists in tow and my team of three, Ale was able to give us breakfast at whatever hour we needed to see the race, his social-hour cocktails were the best as was the food he served for our hungry riders. The rooms are large and inviting - big bathrooms and skylights give the room even more space. Hot water at all times of the day too (which is not always possible with 16 guys showering all at once)! He offered to give us a lift in his van if we so needed it. Hospitality beyond compare!

Would stay again

I stayed here with my son (2.1/2) for Easter Sunday and the following week. Staff are really helpful, even met me at 1am with a key after our flight was delayed. Aprica was very quiet, so was the hotel and sometimes it felt like we were the only guest. Its not a full-service hotel, certainly not when we were there, so no breakfast was served (save for croissant and coffee in the bar) and the room is not serviced not even towel changes - maybe if you ask, they do that ? The bedroom was very nice, with a kitchen and dining area so its more like an up-market comfort suites room than a regular hotel room. The hotel is very pretty, very nice, lovely spa, lovely staff but the resort was soooo... quiet. We would stay again, and having looked around it seems to be the best hotel around - and infinitely better than the St Martin which was ranked #2, as my wife and other son (8) were booked in there on a ski trip and it was a huge let-down for them (we were very happy we were in Serenella)

The place to stay in Aprica

Had a weekend skiing in Aprica and we couldn't have stayed in a nicer hotel. Cant add to much more to the other posts but can confirm the rooms are clean modern and the spa is a great place to go after skiing for a sauna, steam room and massage. Top staff as well.

Fab 4 Star Hotel

My Husband booked this Hotel as it was a Birthday Break Away . From the moment I arrived I was extremely impressed with the location , decor & Staff. The Receptionist (Gaia) was also the person who made the booking greeted us warmly .

The room with balcony had the most amazing view of the "Slopes" , was very spacious, warm and clean . We had breakfast each morning ( Continential) in the bar , Fresh orange just , pastries, cold meats & cheeses ~ beautiful

We availed of the Jacuzzi and my husband had a massage ~ lovely tranquil setting

Over the few days coming & goings we got to know the staff quite well. This is a very warm and personalable hotel . English was broken but we could all understnad each other perfectly .

I am looking forward to returning next January

Just returned from a wonderful 4 day ski break in Aprica - where we stayed in the top-class Serenella Residence. Room with full views of the slopes from the balcony and only a 2-minute walk to the ski-lifts. Staff with broken English very anxious to help to all times - our initial dealings with them were by email and they proved to be very effieicient throughout. Decor was modern & stylish and housekeeping staff were top-class. Breakfast was inclusive and proved to be a fine spread. Spa was tranquil & relaxing in the extreme and massage was excellent. Parking available. Well controlled heating system left the accomodation cosy at all times.
