We were really disappointed in many aspects of this hotel. The best part was the front desk people -- all very nice and helpful. However, it goes downhill from there. There is absolutely nothing close to this hotel. You have to drive for anything. Secure underground parking is 10 euros a night. The other option is to park for free in a large open lot behind the hotel. The room was small, the air conditioning did not work, and you could not open the windows because of the traffic noise. Very noisy hotel. We would not stay here again.

This hotel is a lot further away from nice centre and promenade than I expected, it is at least 15 minute drive. It is not accessible easily unless you have a car and impossible to walk into the centre from as you have to go on the motorway. Had a problem with our room half way through our stay as we came back at 10pm after being out all day walking so were exhausted and walked into a mess in the bathroom. This consisted of soaking towels on the side with gritty basin and part of our roof removed in the bathroom. We had to change rooms at this point, last thing you want at 10pm after being out all day but more worrying than that was that someone was let into our room who was not a cleaner or staff member as it was obvious a contractor had been in to fix something without our permission or any knowledge. I spoke to the manager on duty the next morning (who was very nice) he said we could have some type of discount, which I agreed to, however upon checkout this was not relayed so the only 'discount' I got was a 5euro bottle of water! Not impressed. The positives are that it has free parking and a nice clean pool area. The city is well worth a visit, lots to do and a few good walks with stunning views, it is my third time visiting Nice but I would never return to this hotel

We booked a regular room with double bed but the room had a really bad smell coming from the air conditioning unit, like a sewar smell. We asked to be moved and were told there was only one empty room left but it had separate beds. This wan't true however because I looked on booking.com in front of the man from the front desk and knew there were about 15 empty rooms in the hotel. Finally he moved us to another room, supposedly an "upgrade" but it was just a room that had 2 bedrooms, apparently their "suite," so I don't recommend paying extra for one of those. Hotel was in big need of maintenance, one of those places that takes pics when the place is first built and keeps using those, meanwhile the maintenance is going downhill. Not worth the small saving you get from being outside the center, you might as well just stay in Nice center.

1. Clean housekeeping staff and very polite
2. Rooms comfortable but needs HIGH MAINTENANCE
3.St joseph restaurant and the staff inside are exquisite:
-Food tastes so well , items on menu are varied with best quality
-Staff are so attentive for roomservice and at their restaurant
4.Work on your hospitality more

A perfect stay, hotel has a high standard. Maybe they can have better bathroom as mentioned, but except this I had no problem. Staff is language skilled and outgoing. I enjoyed also the pool, clean and not overcrowded.Nice.
