What People are saying

fine hotel in a very good location

Rexetersg on 26/06/2014 22:12

My wife and two children spent a satisfying week in Seven Apart. Located a block from the King's Cross tube and a short walk from the Euston station, a number of tube lines and the national railway are easily accessible. The room was spacious and clean, with the bed and sofa bed sleeping four of us comfortably. The kitchen is small but sufficient, and we probably should have used it more but there are so many restaurants and pubs around! We only encountered two problematic issues. One was a family above us that seemed to be stomping about late at night and also early in the morning. It was annoying and made it difficult for all of us to sleep. The hotel management was very helpful in trying to get the people to be quieter. My advice would be to book the rooms on the top floor, unless you are a stomper with a loud family in which case the courteous thing would be to choose the ground floor. While I don't blame the hotel for the first issue, I do question its judgment with the second regarding the bathroom. The room is good for a family, but the bathroom not so much. The shower (no bath) has a see through glass door and if your child chooses to use the spray hose be warned that the water can shoot under the bottom of the door and leak all over your floor. Also, good luck figuring out which knob turns on the shower and how to adjust the temperature. The toilet is shaped in a perfect square which is ideal only for those with very wide square bottoms. Those with round bottoms of average to modest size should mind the gaping hole before squatting. There is no ventilation and no toilet brush so share a room only with understanding and forgiving members. Oh, and there is no lock on the door and it remains ajar despite your best efforts, so don't be bashful. These inconveniences aside, overall, this was a good hotel of decent value.

Beautiful design apartment close to Kings Cross St Pancras Station

We booked 2 apartments with 8 colleagues. Reception services are located in a hotel that's literally just around the corner. The apartments are located in a quiet square just 100m away from the beautiful Kings Cross St Pancras international railway station (which we could see from our rooms). The apartments were very different from one another, which was fun. The rooms have nice design furniture and pleasant colors. The kitchenette featured an illy espresso maker with cups provided for free. There was a double bed and a sofa that converts into another double bed. The bathroom was very nice, with a great shower in the one apartment, and a bath in the other one.
The reception staff was very helpful and friendly at almost any contact, except when áll of our 6(!) room keys had stopped working overnight, and the reception lady gave us an unnecessary lecture about mobile phones demagnetizing keycards (instead of some compassion about the wet clothes we got whilst locked out in the rain) which was obvious nonsense.

In conclusion, I highly recommend this place for a visit to London, because of it's unbeatable location, beautiful design and good service.

Central and very good standard

We were over in London for a night out and needed something close to Kings Cross. This little apartment was perfect for our needs. We'll decorated, modern with basic kitchen facilities, we couldn't have asked for better.

Clean, Homely - a delight :)

Such a delightful stay had at the seven apartment.

myself, my mom and her friend visited london to see the winter wonderland at hyde park so needed a no frills weekend hotel so we booked the seven apartment due to its cheap price and central location with a 5min walk from euston station it seemed perfect - much to our surprise this is far from a cheap. no frills apartment, its extremely modern, beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need.

I would defiantly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in central london - and i myself will 100% be staying here on my next visit to the big city :)

Megaro's Seven Apart - standing out from the rest

sydney_CJ on 25/10/2013 00:50

Seven Apart Apartments are owned and run by the Megaro Hotel - opposite St Pancras station. There is an entry to the tube directly out front of Karpo - the hotel's restaurant. But with the multi-colour mural on teh outside of the building, you won't miss it!
Check in was at the Megaro Hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely girl escorted me from the main Megaro Hotel, around the corner and one block away (all of 2min walk) to the Seven Apart apartments. We had a great chat on the way and she gave me the full run down on the hotel, the facilities, the local area and then showed me through the apartment and made sure I had everything I needed. Great start!

The thing that really sets both the Megaro and Seven Apart apart from the crowd of boring, vanilla chain hotels is that they have been creative with their spaces. I had a ground floor apartment that was almost as big as my apartment back home. All very modern and every apartment was individually decorated and styled, so they're all different. The ground floor apartment I was in (had full security system) had a lovely red/burgundy colour scheme.
So, great kitchen, with coffee machine and everything you need to cater for yourself if you wish, a full size table and a great lounge.

The bathroom was AMAZING! An enormous free-standing bath tub and a huge shower with great water pressure. Heated mirrors (so they never fog up) and towel rails (mmmm, warm towels) and a dressing table for all your bathroom stuff. The bathroom was open to the bedroom, but the toilet was in it's own room for added privacy.

The bedroom was equally stunning. A huge bed, very comfy. Pillows too soft for my liking, but that's pretty standard when travelling. The standout was the glass triangle roof looking up to the night sky! Wow! It also had electronic shutters so you could close them off to keep the sun out, but on a summer night, it was great to look up into the London sky at night.

My only gripes with the room - the square toilet is not nearly as comfortable as it looks - and it looks beautiful. A couple of light globes were blown, but not enough to not see (just something that should be picked up between guests), and the air-con was a bit noisy, but it definitely worked to keep the place cool on what an unusually warm London day and night.

The hotel was kind enough to keep my bags during the day (back at the Megaro) and most of the staff there were really nice and pleasant (though sometimes a little aloof).

If you want a self-catering option that is definitely high class, high style, with the facilities and backing of the main hotel one block away, the tube close by, and being in the heart of London, then the Seven Apart by Megaro is an excellent choice.
