Very nice large home and private 50 acre property. I stayed here for the better part of a week as a reasonable commute to downtown SB related activities. Anthe makes a nice daily tasty breakfast with large portions. Would say this property would be ideal for a wedding or family reunion.

We used the event venue for a Thanksgiving Dinner for 14 foreign exchange students and their families -- about 75 people in all. It worked out great! We had a dozen or so round table and chairs to use, plus a few long rectangular tables for the potluck buffet. There was ample parking in the lot just outside, and its proximity to the building made set-up and take-down easy. There are several French doors than open up onto a deck and a large field -- great to just step outside and enjoy the crisp fall air, and for the little ones in the group to work off their energy.

The best place ever. Had the pleasure of having my wedding here just 3 weeks ago!!! The service and employees were so amazing. We were able to rent out the whole bed and breakfast and the event center for the weekend. We are still getting rave and exceptional reviews of the place, stay for the weekend and the staff. We are truly please and it's a must visit. We love you guys and thanks for making our day so amazing and special.

This is a beautiful home that is showing normal wear but needs a good cleaning and minor repairs There were not enough towels, hand towel, or wash clothes and what they had was old and stained. The microwave was filthy, the tile floors needed a good scrubbing, as well as the shower floors, and there was mouse poop in the flatware drawer. The showerhead in the downstairs suite was clogged and emitted minimal water, but the pressure was good. However, it took at least seven minutes (I timed it) for the water to get hot so it was NOT a good shower experience! The water pressure was so good in the downstairs water closet that the water splashed out of the sink and onto your clothes when you turned it on. There were two iron spindles on the outside stair rail that were out of place which made it a safety hazard. There were no instructions on how to turn on the hot tub or the pool lights. We were never able to use the hot tub which was a big let down.
The food was good but the bacon was served in a pool of grease. We had to removed the bacon from the platter and place paper towels down to absorb the grease. The milk and juice were put out so early that they were warm by the time breakfast was served. The milk curdled when I added it to my hot tea. We had to request salt the first day because it had not been put out and the sugar bowl was dirty and had old clumped sugar from numerous wet coffee spoons. Bring your own tea bags because the ones they had were an inferior tea in an open container. With those exceptions, breakfast was very good. However, we felt unease about the cleanliness of the whole kitchen because we found mouse droppings in the flatware drawer, the microwave had old food splattered on all sides, the glasses and flatware were left on a towel to drain dry, and no fresh kitchen towels were ever put out.
The plastic flowers on the small tables in the kitchen blocked the view of the other guest sitting at the tables. We removed them to be able to converse more easily. It would be more appealing if they replaced them with shorter arrangements. It would also be more appealing if the use individual salt, pepper, and sugar packets. I would also suggest using real plates instead of paper plates and washing all plates, mugs, glasses, flatware, and coffee pot in the dishwasher. That is a Health Department requirement in our state.

Most of the recent reviews sum up the place reasonably well. A few things to add from someone who read the reviews and went there are that its a nice decent size but not as huge as the pics suggest. Also, probably understood but still worth remembering is that the weather plays an important role in the kind of experience you will have at this place and so choosing the right time of year and checking the forecast are crucial.
