Thank you to Chan and his team at the Shaftsbury Hotel for yet another comfortable stay at easily one of the best Hotels in the area.
Particularly impressed with the night porters attention to detail on my late arrival! The late beer was very much appreciated!!

Due to its location in Central London and modest cost I did not have high expectations. However I was pleasantly surprised. My room and toilet/shower was extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a quiet street off Queensway with lots of eateries nearby and is very close to Bayswater and Queensway tube. It is also close enough to go for a run in Kensington Gardens. A request for a later checkout was met with a positive response and allowed after a system check for availability. And today, I was assisted with my luggage by a lovely man who appeared to enjoy and take pride in his job as concierge. Stay here it's good value.

Good hotel for a short stay in London. Small train or taxi ride into the centre of London so a better price than if your are more central. Clean comfortable rooms. Just a little on the small side but to be expected for a city hotel. Hotel staff extremely helpful and accommodating including being able to recommend local takeaways. Would definitely stay again.

- Location – excellent location. Only 2 minutes walk from the underground and few more minutes from many other bus stations which are connected to most attractions in London.
- Cleanliness – superb! Room was very clean, toilets also!
- Room facilities – all which was needed was also available.
- Hotel staff – very friendly, very cooperative and always there for you to assist

Very clean, very comfortable, very quiet - all the boxes we asked for one a packed two night stay were ticked, including a very friendly and caring staff. Quite nice also: the Halloween decoration.
We will be back.
