I recently stayed at this beautiful Marriott property. Shanghai has many nice properties but this one is a great value for the style and luxury it offers. The breakfast included with the room is amazing with excellent service. The staff is as helpful as you could ask and the river views are captivating. My room was so nice I thought I was upgraded until I saw my friends room was exactly the same. If you can, stay on the executive club level. The club is on the top floor facing the river. The club itself, the food and the drinks available make the extra cost well worth it. Very good visit.

What a great experience. I was here for 5 days at the end of a 8 day trip. My previous hotel in another city was great and being my first time here I didn't know what to expect. I checked in quite late and was welcomed by the staff. On entering my room my bed had been turned down and there was a note from the manager along with some snacks. Each night they turned down my bed. My room was very nice. I was on the 22nd floor at the end of the hall - so no one next to me. My room looked out over the city and the river. The view from just outside my room was amazing. I had access to the Executive Lounge on the 28th floor and was very impressed. The breakfast was very substantial and the evening snacks drinks were great if you don't feel like a full meal. The staff were all very good. Thank you to the lady from the Netherlands who was so helpful and always happy and smiling.
I used the gym a couple of times. I had a good selection of cardio machines and free weights. I had a very good experience and if I'm back in Shanghai I hope I have the opportunity to stay here again.

Thanks tracy's arrangement,The room is ready with high floor as I requested last time When I arrive the hotel. There are plenty of foods and a lot of drinks in lounge.the guys are professional and well trained.

Overall is a good stay. Room is spacious and Good. Staff is very helpful and thumb up for their service level. The location is away from the crowd yet convenience to travel to tourist spot.
In a few occasion I am late for the breakfast. The staff is still prepare some food for me despite the breakfast hour is over.
Have been staying here for many times for both holiday and business trips, I have no regret for each stay and this is my only choice for the hotel booking in Shanghai.

We really enjoy staying in this property which is close to the office for my husband and a good walk to some of our favorite areas of the city (about 20 minutes to Xintandi and then on to Fuxing Park). It is much quieter than the city center property. The concierge lounge staff is very attentive and very helpful. Tracy and her team anticipate our needs and help the busy days start and end on a good note. The gym and pool facilities are clean and up to date. Our rooms are always well appointed and very clean. Taxis are very difficult everywhere in Shanghai. I see that noted in other reviews, but I am always amazed at how hard it is to get a taxi, even when they drive by with a green light on they do not seem to stop for most anyone, anytime and anywhere in the city.
