It's so happy to be the hotel again, actually the hotel is the best location here in dalian city , it's closed to the habour and also the shopping center, it's great for business even holiday stay here! Great service ever here in dalian and makes you feel just back home and you can see the smile from face truely kindly hearted ! It's a great bar in lobby and also one sport bar in the base and also I would love recommend to stay the horizon room here you can enjoy the private checking in and out also the cocktails evening events! I prefer the best japenese restaurant here and also the Xiang place Chinese restaurant there is the great Chinese duck here ! Great stay great people great memories and fabulous!

After the hectic hustle and bustle of the day it was instantly relaxing coming back here.
The room was tastefully styled, clean, and comfortable.
The restaurant was good, and the breakfast was above par!!
This hotel is situated in the vicinity of numerous shops, eateries and bars.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Dalian’s central business and shopping districts, but with the peaceful style and ambiance of every Shangri La. The rooms are comfortable and services are both professional and courteous!!! I highly recommend the Horizon Club Floors, as you will feel like every member of the hotel staff has been assigned to cater to you individually. A special thanks to Henry and to AD who both went out of there way to make our visit memorable!!! We will be back!!!!

It was a great hotel, facility was good. But the room was not that spacious as much as I expected. I stayed at the executive floor, but it was just like a deluxe room. Also, the view from the lounge or the room was just buildings. I think other hotels near the ocean would be better if you stay in Dalian for your vacation. But the service, facility, foods was overall all nice.

Chose Shangri la for its location in the heart of Dalian and within 5 minutes of the hospital I had meetings at the following morning.
I was grateful to the hotel for their arranging a hotel car to meet at the airport at short notice. That worked well it must be said. I was meet on arrival and taken directly to my room. It looked a bit dated but was adequate. Not seeing the Golden Circle amenities I mentioned I was a member and gave my membership number. There was a confused look on the receptionist doing in the room check in. No worries off to the Shang Palace for dinner. Returned an hour or so later and received a call from same receptionist saying they could not find my Golden Circle membership - so no amenities, no upgrade - but never mind, I was only there one night. I went to bed and easily dosed off. After an hour or so, the phone rings - same receptionist - you are a diamond member, we've found it. I could tell she was having an Eureka moment.... I said never mind about the amenities as I was already in bed. Ten minutes later a knock on my door - yes, you've guessed who .... she let herself in and said she had my amenities. Nice I said. Morning came - what was all the fuss about - one apple and one orange!!!!! Ahem!!!
Comfortable bed. Bathroom adequate. Generally dated.
Wifi did not work on any device. In short - don't expect too much, and if you have a Golden Circle membership, think twice before you mention it.
