Pros: Good location, room service, courteous staff, electronic safe is available
Cons: no separate smoking and non smoking room, so i ended up in a smoking room and had to ask for another non smoking room, The bathroom door gets jammed and very hard to open. no phone in the bathroom.Single travellers can get trapped and this could be their last stay in a hotel. Careful.
Ask specifically for double bed if you need one.

I have earlier also written a review for this hotel... And this is to reconfirm their lower standards as I have stayed yesterday again. In my sincere opinion never ever stay here. They have a front desk staff who are not even bothered whether you are guest or something or coming or going. They have a house keeping who straightaway deny that they won't provide you a miniature bottle of moisturizer. In the restaurant they have a chef who can make a fried egg without breaking the yolk. I asked waiter why this is broken he taught me the difference between fried egg and masala omelette, Lols... Then the chef came and told this happens always when fried eggs are made, and he claims to have 35 years of experience. Also I could hear to the restaurant he loudly cribbing about this loudly in kitchen. Who would like to pay and stay in their hotel and will be interested to hear this. Utterly below standard place to stay and eat. Pls avoid this hotel if you would love to have a nice stay in this city.

Stayed at Shantai for 2nights. It's a nice place with basic amenities. The rooms that we stayed in on the 3rd floor were very small and compact. I was traveling with a toddler and he didn't have any place in the room to move about.
The bathrooms are also very small and very dimly lit. I could barely manage to bathe my son as there is just enough place for one to stand in the bathroom.
The breakfast buffet is nice . 2 Indian dishes , eggs to order, cornflakes, bread , jam and butter, and fruits.
The hotel is not far away from the station and other attractions are about 30-45 minutes away.

Three star hotel with impeccable service.
The buffet breakfast is generous and easily worth at least Rs 300/- per head.
Very economical for twin occupancy.
Bathroom is a bit tiny - but very clean .
Best value is to book through Travel websites- you get generous discounts.

This is a decent business hotel and has decent rooms. We were in room number 414 and the lock was a little difficult to open. Location is near the railway station. There is a good cafe in the hotel which serves sheesha and is open till 12PM
