A lovely hotel, with huge rooms filled with antique furniture from all over India. Lovely pool with waterfall, jacuzzi and pool bar - and pool table for the kids. Staff were incredibly friendly and extremely solicitous.

Had an awesome experience. Went with 15 friends for college reunion. Could not have asked for anything more to make it a lifetime memorable experience. Thanks to Arun, who was more than attentive, hospitable and always went above and beyond.
The resort was beautiful, well maintained. Ideal for reunions with just 22 rooms. Right from the room, to the pool, to the car service, everything was perfect.

Our stay at Shanti Morada in Saligaon, GOA was a four day and three nights including complimentary breakfast and one complimentary major meal. It was a wonderful stay and our kids enjoyed it as much as we did. Food was delicious, thanks to chef Atul. Mr Amar Sareen have been so friendly and supportive by assisting us with arranging two days sight seeing tours covering North and South Goa which was concluded by marvelous evening cruise ride in the river Mandovi. We are truly satisfied with the hospitality. I would recommend everyone to have this experience.
Fantastic service and olde world Portuguese charm

We stayed 4 nights in this 100 years + former Portuguese mansion in the shoulder season - not so crowded. The charming antiques and beautiful surrounding gardens are matched by the service of all of the staff. Each and every one of them were very warm and attentive. Special mention to Arun and his culinary team at the Lantern where we had almost all of our meals. The food was exceptional- we loved our visit to the fish market and cooking class followed by our 4 course meal (which we helped make under Arun’s supervision). The food is made with love and passion and that is what you taste. I have always loved Indian food but I became an Indian food tragic as all of my meals including breakfasts became Indian! Our waiters were superb - they made you feel special. I congratulate the management on not only their training of staff but the selection of the quality of people they have employed. A truly memorable stay. The only caution is to realise that the rooms may have a mouldy smell during monsoon season. Our balcony room was ok but our friends’ room had a strong musty odour. But it is an old establishment- 1897. The location is out of the main town but we liked that as there is a great pool and the hotel has great atmosphere. We often booked a driver to do some touring in old Goa - which was excellent as he showed us sights we would never have seen. For example the Catholic Churches and Hindu temples (and a Sikh temple) are spectacular as is the Portuguese architecture. You won’t regret staying here.

Stayed at the lovely resort for 4 days. The experience was simply awesome. It's a gem hidden in Saligao. The resort is a lovely heritage place. Room was spacious and very cosy. We could spend hours in the balcony surrounded by beautiful sights and listening to birds chirping. All the decors in the resort were literally antique pieces. The place had such a positive vibes. Mr. Amar at the front desk was very cordial and extremely helpful during our entire stay. The food served at the restaurant was quite good. Special mention of Mr. Laltu and Mr. Rajendra at the restaurant. They were always there, prompt with their services and a smile on their face.
Stay at Shanti Morada is an experience to be cherished for lifetime.
