We stayed on 1st October 2017.. There is no provision for drivers night stay and food. We have to pay for drivers costly food. Food is costlier and not so good. Swimming pool is good... Rooms ok. Poor maintenance. There is no mattress.

We went there for a office outing
It was an awesome experience even though it was a hot day
we could play cricket and had awesome lunch and a great time
we had to pay separately for using the pool though.. better to not use it as they rarely change the water

Worst service ever received from thr management. Food is bad. They say bar will be open till 10pm but they shut the doors at 8pm , when asked they told us to wait outside the bar and some person will come and open it but none of them turned up .. Next day morning ordered yea but it came after 2 hours because the tea powder got over..this was the excuse given and when we complained about all this to the manager he wasnt even bothered about it coz he was still in his hangover from last night drink! Wouldn't recommend this resort to anyone.

We planned for a get together in shelter beach resort on 2-july-2016 . we had a worst experience over there , food is not that much good, rooms are stinky , for each and everything they are charging separately ( Eg: Tooth brush , paste ect.. ) we have to be very careful otherwise they ll cheat our money. whatever we are ordering we have to ensure about the price by taking the screenshot otherwise while check out u ll get a huge bill amount. My kind advice to all not to visit shelter.

The resort is good in terms of rooms, swimming pool and beach.
Good points
1. The rooms are huge if you are staying in Twin sharing. We stayed in 308.
2. Swimming pool is big enough for playing with group of friends. Only nylon shorts allowed. Ball is provided for playing. If there are more groups then 45 mins for each group. Separate section for kids.
3. Beach is good and there is security guard available always who provides you with volleyball and cricket kit. That's the best highlight of this resort.
4. Snacks available at the beach itself. Coffee, tea and veg snacks.
5. At night time halogen is there so you can relax at beach though not advisable near water as there are lot of big crabs roaming freely.
Bad points
1. Restaurant during lunch didn't even switched on the AC and there was no fan too. So it was sweltering hot while having food.
2.food can be lot better.
3. The AC is the room is connected to booster which is time controlled so every few mins it gets off and starts on automatically and since room is large the cooling seems insufficient. There is wall mounted fan to cool you off.
All in all.. If you have good company you can enjoy this place otherwise you will keep complaining about small things.
