I stayed in this hotel with my husband and girl. After booking this I gone through reviews here on trip advisor. Because I had already booked in , we thought let’s just make it.
We had a wonderful and shocking experience while staying Shelton hotel. Because we had very negative thoughts about this Hotel, so we were lil bit unhappy. But from check in to check out , we were really surprised and happy.
-This hotel is located just opposite to haringay station (plus point).
-The guy at the reception was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us a map of central London and showed us all the attractions of London and told us how to get there. His behaviour make me write about him.
- Our room was nice, clean and tidy. There was no fridge tho in the room. We as for European charges which was provided to us in minutes.
- Hotel have 24 hours reception and security (plus point)
- Free WIFI all over the hotel.(plus point)
- En-suite room (plus point)
- Family room is only £70.00 with free breakfast. I mean what else you need in London. I don’t think you will find such facilities in this price, speacially in London.
- Almost all kind of restaurants, big Sainsbury’s, McDonald’s just 5 mins walk away( plus point)
- Situated near lots of Pubs and near high street.
We enjoyed our stay . After staying there and after treated by very friendly and well behaved staff, it make me write about this hotel. Welldone guys👍🏼, keep it up and thanks for hospitality.

Do not stay here!! This hotel is unclean has 'toilet' and room numbers hand written in biro on the doors. They demand cash which wasn't in the booking conditions. When we said we didn't have the cash they began speaking to each other in another language then said we can't stay if we don't go out at 10pm and get cash. We went up to our appalling room gathered our things and went to the ibis which cost us another £200. This hotel is intimidating; unwelcoming; unclean and They said you are paying
For the night and we have your card details! It was very intimidating from three men.
There was building work and a skip at the door. Carpet was sticky. The worst hotel. I have stayed in nicer hostels. Sleep in the train station if you are stuck for somewhere to stay it's definitely cleaner.

This hotel is disgusting!! woke up with bites all over my body, my feet were sticking to the floor, the bathroom looked like a bomb had hit it!!!
The manager is rude and not interested in customer service, when I approached him and asked for a refund he flat out refused saying he had a no refund policy, and when asked if he was happy with me writing a bad review he said "he didn't care"
I will not be making the mistake of booking here again!!!!!

This is located in a great location if travelling by train as it is a walk over a bridge straight to the hotel. Good for travel to Alexandra Palace as two stops away. There was building work in action as they are building a shisha bar next door but not too late and didn't hear anything Sunday. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. We didn't have a fridge as advertised on the booking and a hairdryer had to be borrowed from reception if needed and were very limited. Room was comfortable enough and the price we paid wasn't bad. Breakfast included but could be better organised. Heating was centrally organised and very hot when arrived then other guests were cold when off. Beds comfortable. Shower had a mind of it's own.

Stopped when I had left booking a travelodge too late and payed £38 for a single room.. so far so good.
Confusion as to the payment but sorted quickly enough.
Borrowed me a phone charger... +1
Couldn't find the room was informed it was special which meant
Tv didn't work
Window didn't shut
Only one pillow
Heating wasn't on
Very noisy road outside
Loose manhole clanked every time somebody past over
Paper thin walls were a blessing because I could hear next doors tv
Toilet was leaking so they just put a towel down next to it
Breakfast wasn't till 8 so I missed this also.
I'm only leaving this review as there little things that could be sorted with attentive maintenance and thought.
Pillows and towels could be left in drawers.
Other things are the kinda stuff you put off at home then go to B and q one day and sort them all out.
I wouldn't stop here again as it's only fractionally cheaper than a travelodge.
