Low rise (5 floors) building hotel with what seems like two buildings attached together after they were built. Maybe old & new building. Elevators are in only one building meaning there is a bit of a walk to the other building. The outdoor pool with a 3 feet deep end was heated. Clean room. "Seconds" to the 101 freeway ramps.
The three star review is due to no WiFi for a period of about 24 hours. Needed WiFi for work. Had to work in the lobby with wired connection. That tells me the internet to the hotel was fine it's just somebody inside the hotel could not fix the WiFi

I stopped in here for a night with my daughter to visit Pepperdine. We were only here for about 8 hours, but I was impressed. I usually stay at Marriott properties, but lately I've been trying out the spg brands...I guess they're all together now... anyway, this Sheraton is beautiful and truly is in a lovely location. We had a very nice welcome at the front desk, an easy walk to our room, which was updated and cozy. The beds were wonderful and the bathroom clean and modern. We needed to leave right when breakfast was starting - and since I had prepaid for breakfast they just gave us to-go containers and we filled them up with what we could, grabbed a cup of coffee to go and we were on our way. Nice job Sheraton!

Came for a wedding on a Friday to Sunday trip recently. Hotel was nice and upscale like most Sheraton I have stayed before. Decided to splurge and spoil the parents with a gold floor upgrade which set us back an additional ∼$100 for two nights since there are extra $15 per night parking charge. We were away from the hotel and mostly at the wedding venue so did not get to enjoy the pool or happy hours offered in the gold lounge so cannot review quality of that facility and perks. ( Side note: I was informed however that only non alcoholic drinks are free since this property follow a new management rule instead of the traditional gold floor package which includes two adult beverages per adult.) Room was clean and comfortable with mountain view and a balcony. The noise level in the morning between 7 to 10 however is quite high since our room is right next to the gold lounge so we didn't have the option to sleep in due to hotel patrons walking thru the hallway accessing the lounge for breakfast so we didn't rest very well after travelling with early morning flights and fighting thru LA traffic to get to the venue. I have passed this comments to the front desk upon check out and my information was taken for "management consideration". I am disappointed about the service level since most Sheraton I have stayed in the past would make things right immediately by providing a resolution. This time around I didn't even received an apology verbally and it fell short of the high standard that I am accustomed to for the Sheraton brand. Overall the stay was ok the bed was comfortable with great breakfast in the gold lounge. The downside to consider: small bath tub, additional parking charge, noise level if staying on fifth floor next to the gold lounge. I expect a bit more based on the almost $500 for two night price tag personally...

I stayed for two nights for a business trip. I was expecting a little more upscale. When I checked in, I was told that the parking was an additional $15. Since I was staying for two nights, they were kind enough to charge $15 for two nights. They also told me that the phone lines were down and if I needed anything I could come down to the front desk. So basically room service was down. Not a big deal but wish I had known, I had a late night arrival and had to get out of the hotel to get something to eat.
The hotel bar has a patio where people were drinking till late, it was loud enough that I could not sleep until they closed the bar. If you have an early morning, this may not be a good choice for you.
Otherwise the location and rooms are good.

This is a GORGEOUS hotel with modern & dramatic rooms and updated, spacious bathrooms with granite-clad vanities. Everything was updated and very clean, modern & comfortable. The beds were amazingly soft with real down pillows. So, so comfortable! The coffee maker in the rooms features Starbucks coffee. My rating is for the hotel alone; the restaurant downstairs for your breakfast or dinner needs is desperately needing help with their recipes and quality of ingredients. I'm sorry to say they were pretty terrible, but the service was very good with the staff really seeking to please.
