Remodeling going on but had requested a newly updated, quiet room when I booked and was given one. Room was very clean and nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location. Close to airport and cruise port. Used free shuttle from airport. Less than 15 minute wait. Will use this hotel again.

We booked with a wedding party heading out to a cruise. There was one mistake after another with confusion on the front desk, issues with reservations, overbooking and lost room reservations. Housekeeping was erratic with shampoo and toilet paper replenishment hit or miss. The breakfast buffet was lacklustre and the waitstaff apathetic. Very disappointed.

The reviews I read prior to our stay painted a very grim picture of this facility. They couldn't be more wrong. The facility was clean, up to date in decor and appointments as well as welcoming. The front desk staff went above and beyond the call when a request was made...and reached out to us to see if we were pleased with the service we received. The bistro staff could be a little more pleasant but were a bit overwhelmed.
I would not hesitate to stay here again. And, as a bit of a side note, my wife is super picky about where we stay--she was quite pleased with our accommodations.

After our experience at this hotel, we are not ever planning on staying at another Sheraton. The rooms smelled musty and dirty, the carpets were nearly coming off the floor, the cement by the pool was black from lack of maintenance, the hot tub did not function, the tennis courts were in shambles, and there is nothing, absolutely nothing close by to walk to. We were over charged for our first few nights before the cruise, charged for a movie we did not watch, and the ice machines on half the floors did not work. In order for us to get to a convenience store we walked about 2 miles to a small Mobile station, There were no other restaurants near by to go to for lunch. Not even a McDonalds. We also do not recommend getting room service. We ordered a pizza and have never had worse. We are generally not fussy people but when a hotel is this bad, I needed to warn others.
The only reason I rate this place as poor instead of terrible, is because the shuttle gave good service and the drivers were helpful in taking us to and from the airport and cruise port.

We had a great stay at the Sheraton. We were there for a couple of nights. It was very busy. Many people coming and going from the airport and port. The shuttle is always available for the airport and port. The entire staff is welcoming. Delicious room service menu. The room had a mini fridge. We had our baby and toddler that needed food heated up, and they let us use a microwave at the lobby bar. It's a little far from Miami, which is where we primarily visited. Had a very nice time here. Perfect way to end our vacation.
