What you would expect from a Sheraton
tvr89on 26/10/2017 21:47We stayed here over 1 weekend in lake como and its very well located hotel (only 10min bike ride room the city centre!)
We would recommend Hiring a bike at the hotel and have a wonder round the city centre it's lovely!
The rooms are very comfortable as they usually are in Sheraton hotels. We had a club room so had access to the club lounge, however the choice of foods was very limited - we thought!
You had wines during a couple of hours every nights but not much choice either.
The staff was was really lovely and accommodating. Thank you so much for your thoughtful bottle left in our room as we just got married that week.
Unfortunately we could not see the lake from the Sheraton.
We would definitely return!

katiejane1978on 24/10/2017 23:12This hotel was amazing!! The staff at reception upon arrival were so helpful and friendly and spoke brilliant English. All throughout the stay they helped with all our queries,made reservations and ordered taxis for us. And always had a smile on their faces. The bar staff and breakfast staff also fabulous. And the cleaners made a great job of our room every morning.We even had a couple of items washed and they was done and brought back to us within a few hours. Room service was prompt. The whole hotel inside and out was very clean and tidy.
We had 2 rooms- a twin and a double and the beds were huge! And very comfortable.
The breakfast was the best we have ever had with so much choice. We enjoyed fresh fruit, yogurt, mini pancakes, an omelette cooked by the chef in front of us,boiled eggs, crispy bacon,croissants and the best honey I have ever had.
The ferry boat dock was a few minutes walk away and was great to use.
The surronding area once on the boat was outstanding with the views which are something else! We had some great sunny warm days which made our trip exceptional!
The only thing that let the place down was the swimming pool was shut and to us British it still would of been warm in the lovely 23 degree heat at the end of October!
Taxis can be very expensive and only from the next town of Cernobbio which is a few minutes drive away.
We loved our stay here. Thank you to all at the Sheraton!
Nice Hotel but getting a taxi is a challenge!
marifermdon 23/10/2017 12:50The hotel is really nice, very comfortable, with nice amenities and really good service from the staff. The rooms are quite big and Bed and pillows are great. Also, the food at restaurant is really good and morning buffet is nice.
Nice hotel with fantastic staff
Peter_F_Ton 23/10/2017 10:41The minute we arrived at the desk we were made feel extremely welcome. The reception staff were warm and friendly and we had a lovely chat. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained and the food is very good too. The rooms are spacious with good working space and a comfortable bed. The shower is excellent. They do not have irons and ironing boards in rooms for safety reasons, however there is a well equipped ironing room on the second floor.
Business and pleaaure
Jaxseon 22/10/2017 22:08We stayed here because my husband had a conference in the area. I came along to enjoy some time in Lake Como.
Our room had a giant king size bed which was nice and very comfortable pillows (which is important to me) the room was a good size and had a closet to hang some things but not really anywhere to put anything else. We were there for 4 nights... it would have been nice to put some things away.
The bathroom was nice with a nice shower and good pressure. We had a nice view out to the pool - which looked open but wasn’t (although prob was hot enough as it was sunny and warm in mid oct)
All the staff were friendly and helpful at the lobby and at the restaurant and bar. Breakfast was great and included someone to cook eggs as to how you wanted them.
The location is pretty easy to get around. We had a lot of events at the Villa Erba and would walk about 10 min to them. The ferry to the right of the hotel was about 5-10 min away and easy to get around that way.
We were happy with our stay and would stay again
